We were amazed by sandy-bottom swimming pool, great service, incredibly various brekfast on the terrace, large rooms with spacious balcons. A little bit far from the city center, but there is a free shuttle from the hotel, walking is not a problem as well.

If you go to Monte-Carlo, the Blue Gin Bar is a must see. They have a tantalizing range of cocktails and a twist on cocktail nibbles!

Stayed there during the Monte Carlo Jazz festival in November 2011. The building itself has nothing particular, rather big ugly concrete building (like all buildings in Monaco), but the rooms have a modern touch with warm colors. Bathroom was not big but nicely divided into a closed toilet, a shower and a bathtub. Huge balcony: do ask for a room facing the ocean... otherwise you will be facing the streets... Breakfast has a wide selection with good quality/local sourced products. But be there on time. They close the Breakfast door at 10h30 sharp ! The swimming pool was also very good, although difficult to actually swim... Bathing would be more appropriate. Also as guest of the hotel, the entrance to the Casino is FREE as they have the same owner. So don't forget to show your door key so you won't have to pay the 10€ for Casino entrance.

This hotel was picture perfect! The room looked out over the water and all of the mega-yachts that were coming and going. The pools were just awesome, with several to choose from whether you wanted a sand-bottom pool or an indoor pool....they were magnificent! Breakfast outside overlooking the water and mountain villas felt like you were on the set of an Alfred Hitchcock movie. I loved this city and this hotel

Stayed here for 2 nights in September, stunning hotel, outstanding facilities but you will need to be loaded! Monte Carlo is obviously a playground for the rich and the prices everywhere reflect this. We lived like royalty and made the most of seeing how the other half live!

A word of warning, don't lift anything out of the mini bar unless you intend to consume it, you will be charged (and at 8 quid for a Mars, you maybe sorry).

In summary, this is a beautiful modern hotel and well worth a visit!

My wife & I visited Monaco for the first time in October. The Montecarlo Bay Resort was picked by the company that made most of our arrangements -- it was an excellent choice. Everything was beyond our expectations: the room itself was large, well-furnished, with a great balcony, the staff was friendly and helpful, the pools and ground are great and the breakfast included a wide variety of choices and was more than plentiful.

In a place such as Monte Carlo, it may be a standard, but for me many things made it an excellent choice: room quality, polite staff, excellent breakfast, amenities, position. I am not embarrassed to speak also about cost, because it was really affordable comparing to the standards of Monte Carlo.
