“Big rooms, great view and perfect breakfast”
Reviewed 8 April 2013

The hotel is big, and the rooms are spacious. The staff is very attentive. The best rooms are those facing the sea or the pool - then you can enjoy the afternoon sun on the rooms terrace. The breakfast is so great, everything you desire, and you can either sit inside or outside on the terrace. They have a perfect lounge/cafe area where you can have something to eat or drink after a long day.
It is quite a distance from the hotel til the center of town if going by foot, but the hotel has a shuttle bus leaving every 20min which stops at the Cafè de Paris - and from there you have all the shops and sights within walking distance.
Jimmy's is right through the garden, which is great to know when getting home on sore feet after hours of dancing. They have an indoor and outdoor pool, an ok fitnessrom - and also a Spa and hairdresser - so everything you need to be pampered or stay in shape.
A very nice hotel, not the typical family place - perfect for couples, business and friends. If you like small boutique hotels - then this would be too big.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the sea/pool - not the ones facing the mountain.

Very nice and clean hotel, attentive staff, good food, a great spa and very close to downtown Monaco. Great ocean view, rooms very comfortable. You get what you pay for. ( it's not a budget hotel). The bar is cozy and with good food. You can also have a nice afternoon tea.

Room Tip: Choose the rooms with sea view.

This is a fantastic hotel on every level: 1) you're not on the main Monaco strip i.e Casino Square; 2) Whilst you're not in the thick of it Monaco is tiny so you're a stones throw from any action and you can hear the cars running round on practice day; 3) it's the only hotel in Monaco to have a speedboat station to take you round to the marina; 4) indoor pool that you can swim through outside (delightful) and then wade into the only sand-bottomed lagoon in Europe and 5) a lot of the F1 entourage stay there. Rooms are good, with balconies and the best sights of the ocean - it's not cheap and its not uber-luxury but well worth a stay (and if you're going for this year's GP - invite me!)

Room Tip: Make sure you get a room with both sea and pool view

I absolutely love this hotel. Sand-bottom lagoon pool, warm water, swim from the atrium to the outdoor lagoon, good pool-side mojitos, great jet skiing from the hotel pier, great views from the pool to the sea (not a zero edge, but beautiful all the same) The room was impeccable, the view - part mountain, part sea - was lovely. The balcony was huge with a comfy couch, that didn't get used much as the pool was so amazing and that did not leave much time between swimming and getting ready to go out. Taxi was easy to get from the hotel up the hill and coming back down at 4am on foot (as taxis were impossible to get from the casino or Buddha Bar), was memorable as was the dip in the sea along the way.

Room Tip: You cannot go wrong. Part sea/mountain was great. See pic.

Went there when it opened in 2007. Amazing time there, great service, food , and rooms. The gardens are beautiful, right at the border of the water. I would advise everyone going to Monaco to stay at this hotel.

This beautiful hotel is set alongside the sea on the outskirt of Monte Carlo; it is easy to get into the city with the public transportation stopping in front of the hotel: very convenient as parking in the center of Monte Carlo is always a hassle.
Included into the hotel is a casino, but for those who don't feel like gambling, the rest of the hotel does not suffer from the "Casino - ambiance" as is often the case in other Hotel-Casino's: not everybody is fond of that, but here: no problem with that !
The hoterl is spacious, large and modern rooms with nice bathrooms and all modern comfort. Staff is very friendly, especially the people serving breakfast. Speaking of breakfast: it is not cheap, but verything offered is really top.
The rooms are very quiet, the beds are excellent and if you have a a room with a view on the sea, the whole thing is just wonderful
If you can afford it, this hotel is absolutely to be recommended.

Room Tip: book a room with a seaview !

Great hotel, I was on a business trip, so i did not have to worry about they 875 Euro a night room charge. Rooms are excellent, clean, spacious and have modern fittings etc. The Minibar is expensive (7 euro for a chock bar) but your in Monaco so everything is expensive.
Views from the hotel are excellent, the trade off is it's 10 min walk to the centre of town.
