" Oh, wow ! " "wow," and "wow"...
What a," jewel," in the Novotel range. You ," must," stay here... I cannot say it enough.

The hotel is situated, in the principality of, "Monaco," above, in Monte Carlo, near to the infamous ," Casino," and the train station. You could literally walk across the road from the train
station and in two minutes be at the front door. And, is that a," clean," train station? Plus a view...
The manager, and staff, keep," a tight ship," and requests will be answered to your room
usually within a 5 minute time frame. The welcome is fantastic, and the front desk staff are amazingly, courteous and prompt; and something that is very important these days, polite, professional, and, friendly.

The hotel has several rooms, with," fabulous balconies," and ,"excellent views," to both, the hills and the sea/marina. The hotel pool is exceptionally pleasant, and comes complete with a life guard.

Exceptionally clean rooms, with attentive room service staff.

The hotel atmosphere is cordial, and you can certainly enjoy," all," that Monte Carlo can offer.

The, "Cheeseburger," made from ground beef, in the restaurant proved a popular hit, and," other," gourmet delights are available from the Chef.

The décor is contemporary, and convivial. Producing a relaxing reception area. "Just, sit back
and relax... "

There is a gym, and Hamman for the sporty people. 2 internet terminals in the reception area
for the children, or adults.

So, onto breakfast. Hello? "Totally Outstanding." Croissant, bread, juice, coffee, tea, confiture delivered to your room, or eat in the restaurant. Oh, we are back there now...

The parking is astounding, and reasonably priced for ," Monte Carlo," How clean can you get, and with a lift that takes you vitually up to the hotel reception.

Take a walk via the train station. Turn left out of reception and pass the small post box on the wall. Cross the double pedestrian crossing on the road, and go down into the train station. Escalators, a lift, few shops, another escalator, and the cleanest station you may have ever seen. And, one with a view. Walk out the doors, and down past the small pretty church. You are
now in the bay area. Late night minimart, to right. Across the road via the cleanest tunnel that we have ever seen.

The harbour is full of boats,( well that figures,) that are so big, some have three, four, five levels,
and must cost a fortune to run... Well worth a visit. We can all dream ! If, you are lucky to own one of these, then please contact us ,in the hope that you may be willing to give us an insight into your life.
Seriously, they are outstanding...

So, back to the hotel. You can book via the internet, or by telephone. You will not be disappointed.
Trust us, the staff at the," Novotel Monte Carlo," are," formidable," and we will be visiting again
next year without a doubt. Sit back and relax... We did, and what a holiday....

Tell them, that, "David, and his family sent you," because we had a magical time !

A bientot...

Room Tip: Upgrade to a room with a balcony, facing the sea, if possible.

This may be a Novotel but it is quite stylish and is in a very good position, just 5 minutes from the Casino. The buffet breakfasts were very good, very charming staff. The garden rooms and suites look towards the harbour and have spacious balconies.

Room Tip: If you can afford a suite go for it, very nice layout and great views of the harbour

Beautiful hotel, immaculately clean with great facilities and staff.

A 10 minute, very steep walk from the casino area.

If you are arriving by train, get a taxi to the hotel or make sure you exit at the uppermost level of the station and be prepared for a steep walk!

I would definitely return to this hotel.

Question: how can two hotels from the same chain with same 4* rating be such worlds apart? You may pay a bit extra to stay in Monaco Novotel but its well worth it.

Location is great, amenities good, bedrooms still on the small side but updated bathrooms makes them a bit more acceptable. Investment each hotel tends to be in reception areas rather than the paid rooms!

Staff were excellent and provided a professional and helpful service.

We visited Monaco for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. The Novotel was perfectly placed with only a short walk from the hotel to casino square - basically turn right and walk for about 8 minutes! The rooms were basic and clean. The restaurant was good and bar lovely and spacious. The pool area is lovely too, if a little crowded. Breakfast was a little disorganised but was still ok. The staff were extremely helpful which made up for it. Generally good hotel, good value for Monaco and conveniently placed for sightseeing. If you want luxury, pay the money and stay in the Hermitage or Fairmont... you get what you pay for :-)

Room Tip: All rooms are similar. They are tiered so if you want a good room with a view you should just pay fo...

We booked on booking.com and got a good deal here for three nights.
The room was good and spacious, very quiet. The pool area was a welcome relief to the heat, although did get very busy in the afternoons.
The staff on the desk were very helpful, especially in respect of our luggage, which included two huge bike boxes to be kept in a room entirely separate from their usual luggage room, but which they allowed us access to at the drop of a hat.
They were also incredibly helpful with our taxi to the airport, ensuring it would accommodate all of our sports gear.
We did suffer one night without room service, as for some reason even by 7pm they had not made up our room.
Good location, easy walking to everywhere, and would definitely go back if in monaco again.

My experience with this Novotel didn't start great. I booked my two night stay on the Novotel website directly and received my confirmation as expected. I was then surprised to see that my credit card had been charged twice.

I called the hotel who told me that I had booked twice, I tried to explain that I hadn't and that there must have been a technical error. After a confusing phone conversation, numerous emails with the hotel reception and then contacting the Novotel's main complaints email address I finally got the wrongly taken money refunded back to me.

We had an executive room on the 10th floor with a great view of the harbour and the hotel pool. The bathroom was big, the room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. A Nespresso coffee machine was free to use in the room and complimentary drinks were available in the minibar.

One night we arrived back to the room and wanted to order room service. I called the reception who told me that nothing on the menu was available apart from the club sandwich. When it arrived 5 minutes later it was freezing and soggy and tasted like it had been a fridge all day. Very dissapointing and cost around 25 euros.

The hotel is in a great location, although on top or a very steep hill! The casino and other hotels are just down the road but the nearest beach is probably around a 30 minute walk away. The parking at the hotel was convieniently underground and cost 29 euros a day.

The pool was nice but there was not a lot of sun loungers around the pool and they get reserved very quickly in the morning. We arrived at the pool around 2pm one day and not one sunbed was available. Get there early to get a spot around the pool!

Room Tip: The higher the room the better
