Our family of 4 stayed at Haus Lenz for 3 nights in June 2012 and loved it. Since there are only 2 guest rooms, we were the sole guests and enjoyed the hospitality of Helga and Fred as if we were family. The guest house is at the top of the town and is a challenging climb with luggage. But, is well worth the effort. There is a patio overlooking the lake which provides the perfect spot for spectacular photos. The rooms are clean, roomy private and comfortable with amazing views of the lake and town below. The house has the faint smoky smells of winter fires. The cozy breakfast room faces the lake and provides the traditional breakfast of cereals, meat, cheese, and bread with juice, coffee or tea. Helga is very sweet and helpful host. She helped us with our excursions and what buses to take. She also offered discounts for area attractions. The overall feel of the guest house is cozy, warm and the sense that you are staying with your grandparents. We would recommend House Lenz to those looking for a spectacular view and the feeling of staying with family.
