It was Sunday so not that much open for eating of an evening. Bier gardens are usually a reliable choice and this one was much as expected. It was not overly busy so service was quick and attentive. Food was robust fare but very nice as was the beer of course. The place itself was very large with a number of areas (closed off) that looked like it would be a very busy place when full.

We went there for a drink and then decided to have a nice meal. The food was hearty and the service very friendly. The garden restaurant has a nice atmosphere and it is a traditional Austrian Beergarden. The food was very good and we enjoyed our visit.

The food and beer were great! If you are going to eat here, eat outside. Today it rained so we had to eat inside...with all the smokers. It would have been nice if the windows were opened or something.

Wait staff are charming and patient. Ask for the German menu, even if you don't speak German, as the English menu is a short version of what they offer. Try the bratwurst or weiswurst. The saurkraut is sweet and tender and the mustard is superb. Kaiserschmarn is an Austrian sweet treat that is yummy. Ask for whipped cream!
