I had absolutely no problems with the hotel itself. Beds are very comfortable, and the rooms are equipped with pretty much everything (no safe in my room, don't know about the others). Reception staff were always friendly and spoke perfect English. WiFi was also very good and very fast! Smoking is not permitted in any of the rooms, but you can smoke in the fire escape as there are ashtrays there. Cannot comment on the breakfast as I didn't have any at the hotel, but there are small bakeries/coffee shops at the train station in case you opt out on it.
Since the hotel is situated right at the train station, it is extremely easy to get to places from here. Trams take you right to the centre transfer point Jakominiplatz (which is technically about a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel) so location is great. The train station itself also has a supermarket which is open 7 days a week.
The only downside to the location is it can be a bit unsettling in the evening as there are some strange characters walking around there, but that is typical of train stations and they don't really seem dangerous.
Would definitely recommend, and stay here again myself :)More
