“NICE AND CONVINENT”
Reviewed 15 May 2012

Snooze hotel is 10 mins bus ride by bus no 2 from the airport and you are 300 meters from the hotel and from the railway station bus no 1 takes 20 mins and drops you across the road. The hotel is neat and clean, The single room is sufficiently spacious, The bath area is a little cramped for space otherwise it is very nice. The hotel has an elevator and free wifi in all area's.

The breakfast offered by the hotel costs 9 Euro per head is good but does not include eggs for which they want you to pay extra which is one minus point. However just across the road their is a bakery where you can get a Muffin and a cup of Coffee for 2 Euro,A cup of tea/coffee with bread butter and Jam for just 3.6 Euro from 6 am to 6 pm.The bakery also stocks other tempting cakes, pastries and sandwitches and cold drinks mineral water etc.
The Staff is very helpful they booked my tour just two hours before the tour began.and even arranged a pick up ..

I will recommend this hotel to all who are in look out for a reasonable priced ,centrally located ,neat and clean place with helpful staff.

After we made a reservation by phone the manager was kind and said that I can bring my son for free. The price at the arrival was Euro 74 instead of 64 because of "double occupancy" without bfst. When we entered the room the lights went off. The receptionist named this as a common failure and called for his boss. After ten minutes (23.00) the"boss" came without greeting or any friendly word. He gave me the keys for another room next floor. I asked hin for a flashlight, as it was absolutely dark in the room and - as he behaved extremely unfriendly-that I was fed up by the wrong promise about the price. As a reaction he asked me to leave the hotel. (togehter with my young son). My recommendation: DO NOT ENTER THIS HOTEL. They do not even have flashlights in case of a circuit brake down. Imagine a fire or other disorder in the hotel.. you won´t find the way out.

We stayed here for 2 nights during our honeymoon. The hotel itself didn't seem like a hotel but more like a modern office building. The room was similar in size to our room in Paris but with a bigger washroom. There wasn't much space to put your things but the bed was comfortable and we slept very well. It was about a 45 minute walk to get to the city centre. I do not have anything negative to say about the hotel but we probably wouldn't stay here again because it wasn't anything special for the price.

The modern wing of the hotel in which we stayed must have been original and stylish when new but now the room-walls need some painting and the blinds / courtains had humidity staines which gave a really bad impression.
The bathroom had no door. This wouldn't be a problem if it wasnt for the stench that came from the shower pipes... The loo was on a cubicle just separated from the room by a glass pane (not very wise).
The hotel is not in the old part of the town but two buses stop just at the front of the hotel and its mererly 5 stops far from the attractions. On foot is a 20 minutes walk.
Complimentary WIFI connection and free parking (a thing to consider when choosing a hotel in Salzburg)

plus ++:
- location perfect of you come by car ( parking in salzburg is diffcult, and they fine you, grrr just payed 21€ , uff)
- generous parking lot on hotel premises
- very nice architecture and interior design
- great breakfast foe good price.. you can experience austrian specialities
- rooms to the yars are very quiet ( dunno about the rooms toward the mainroad, see other reviews)
- very nice and helpful staff (young folks)
- moderate pricing
- free internet access (unusual in austria, you have difficulties to find a free WIFI)

minus --:
- rooms are tiny! ic you have some claustrophoby, better not.
- almost no space for luggage or other items (work with notebook, better downstairs)
- very very small window, main window does not open
- bathroom or shoer are is not completely separated from the vbedroom, gets very humid though after shower, NO AIRCON, no chance to change the air , due to tiny window.
- we had hot day, room was very very hot and humid, no chance to cool or refresh the room
- in winter or autumn with moderate temperature it might not be a problem, but in summer its just not nice.

considering plus and minus, its still a nice place, nice breakfast, nice location, but not for hot days.

I had a single room with a window that opened about an inch. With temperatures at 34 degress plus,it was stiffling hot and stuffy. The staff werent able to provide me with a fan/cooler making my time esp the nights there unbearable.I had to leave the door to my room open at night for some cross ventillation.

The minimilistic theme did not work for me at all..the bed was too small, towels seemed more like napkins, the bathroom area was flooded everytime I took a shower etc etc.Furthermore breakfast expensive at 9 euros per person and you have gotto pay for public transport to and from the hotel..its not walking distance to the touristy stuff at all.In summary not comfortable at all.

On the plus side the staff seemed helpful.

New Hotel with quite small rooms. The Hotel is a fair way to the city center, but there is a bus stop outside which takes you directly to the center of town (10-15mins). However it is for the price it is still a good option.
Staff were nice without being extremely helpful.
