“An outstanding Baroque cathedral”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

You can't miss this dome shape cathedral while working in the old town of Salzburg. The interior decor would have to take your breath away. I would recommend to attend its Mass if you are a Catholic just to feel its atmosphere.

“Amazing Church”
Reviewed 13 August 2014

This baroque cathedral is a Must See -- There is hardly another one so beautifully decorated without being overwhelming. The outside looks rather inconspicuous while inside is grand, uniform and harmonious, with exquisite details that all seem to be part of one big scheme. No entrance fee (donations welcome)

“Beautiful church!”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

We have toured many cities in Europe but think this is one of the prettiest churches we have seen. It is less ornate than many which allows the visitor to see the wonderful architecture of the cathedral and the dome paintings. The natural lighting is great.

Baroque building...the statue of the Blessed Mother Mary in the square is there to welcome visitors. Mozart was baptized here. Beautiful...must see.

“Very beautiful”
Reviewed 9 August 2014

There are cathedrals in every city and when you are visiting many cities they all seem to mould into one. I really like this cathedral because of its gothic style. It was different to others I have seen and I really appreciated the architecture and the aesthetic appeal inside.
