We stayed at this hotel because of a broken lock on the Danube turned our river cruise into an extended bus trip. We part of a large group and we were luck to be staying in a renovated club room. These rooms feature very modern hallways with white walls accented by dark wood. The bathrooms have double sinks, TV's in the bathroom!! There are headed towel racks and floors. A shower with an incredibly huge rain head. The rooms have hardwood floors(I've never seen this in a hotel), white walls and dark trim. The lobby and restaurant have a very different decor and have a older feeling to them. The hotel is attached to the conference center where our group eat lunch and dinner. I tired to use the pool but was informed it is not open during the summer months, it is not actually part of the hotel but is in a separate building across the street(???).
We had one problem which several others is our group also had and that was we could not get the temperature low enough to be comfortable and I had real trouble sleeping. The fan was blowing air but no matter how low you set it, it would not blow cool air. We could have opened the window to let air in but there was a big thunder storm, it was very humid outside and the heavy rain would have kept us awake.
The hotel's restaurant backs right on to the Mirabel Gardens which is a great place for wandering.
