One of the oldest abbeys in the area…dating to 700AD….founded by St. Rupert (who is supposedly buried there). I honestly don't know how people can tire of going in churches. They are all so different! This one happens to be a mix of Romansque (outside) and Baroque and Rococco (inside). From the outside it doesn't look like much, but from the inside, wow! The dome, the arches, the floor, the ceiling, the wood work, the paintings, and all the detail! Got to see it to believe it. Pop inside for a few minutes, then go visit the cemetery!
