the staff is super friendly and only too happy to take care of any dinner reservations. we arrived early in the morning and even though the room was not ready, they happily took our luggage and moved it into our room while we were out. great location, 20 minutes from old town (where the tourist area is). no parking, but they provided us with a discount ticket to be used at the garage a short distance away. we were told to ask for a 5th floor corner by other reviewers and we received room 503. it is definitely worth asking for. high up to eliminate the ground traffic noise.

The great service at the Mozart began several months before we arrived. Having booked online, I very quickly got a confirmation email from Bruno, who also quickly responded to my request for a room with a great view! Same quick response when we needed a second room.
We arrived and received our two adjoining rooms both with great views and comfortable beds. As the other reviews indicated, Marco Rene and Bruno were all really nice and extremely helpful with recommendations on restaurants, shopping etc. The rooms are small and not airconditioned, but really clean and cool in the evenings. Spacious breakfast room, and a nice breakfast and lovely staff. Centrally located and the Old Town is only about 15 minutes away. In fact we walked home from the Haus fur Mozart one evening without difficulty. Lots of shopping, cafes and restaurants on the way to the Old Town. Recommend this hotel for those who can do without all the bells and whistles but appreciate personal service.

Good welcome at this hotel. Staff on Reception always very friendly. Room was fine. Unfortunately we were there during the recent heatwave and although we had a fan, it was very very hot! However we knew there was no air conditioning when we booked so that's ok. Bathroom was a good size and all very clean. Location is perfect. 10 minute walk to the centre of the old town. The list of restaurants they give you was invaluable and we tried quite a few. Recommend this hotel.

I had a 1 night stay.

Rene was so courteous and kind. He helped me with my bag. I began to tell him of the strip club hotel that I was going to have to stay at for 3 days.

He informed me that they had a cancellation and I could stay at this wonderful hotel. I took it and don't regret it.

The hotel is only 10 short minutes from the old city. It is worth the walk. It was about 1 hour from the fortress.

It was so clean and quite. It has been so wonderful and nothing fancy. I love it; it has a comfort of home.

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay at Hotel Mozart. Good location and easy walk to and from the train station. Mirabell Gardens, the river Salzach and the Old Town beyond are all easily within reach if you don't mind 5-15 minutes walking. Our 3rd floor corner room was furnished in traditional style and the bed (two singles together) was extremely comfortable. Two sets of sound proofed windows gave interesting street views and provided a quiet room but if open at night you could hear street noise. No air conditioning but a fan which we did use. The bathroom was small but very clean with shower over the bath.
No kettle in the room but the staff (Leila) were happy to make delicious cups of coffee for guests. Rene was particularly friendly and we had lots of laughs chatting with him!
We loved our time in Salzburg, would recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to return.
