We stumbled upon this on the road from Gosau towards Golling and the highway. We were delighted that we found it. The ticket office was closed but access was still available through a turnstile. It was a steep 125 step climb down towards the bottom of the gorge. For much of the way the stairs or path was built into the side of the gorge wall. It was quite narrow and below us was the churning Lammer River. There were flood markers to indicate how high the water level had gotten during major floods in the last 100 years. At the very end was a narrow chasm that was suitably called the Dark Gorge. This was a nice way to spend a half an hour.
