the lift is worth the views! €3.60 ascent and descent, however you can walk up and down. we chose to go up with the lift as it was unbearably hot. the views are fantastic! Salzburg is right below you with the fortress right in front of you! loved it, would recommend!

If it were not for the Salzburg Card, which included that ELEVATOR ride, I wouldn't pay. Instead, I would either walk up or walk on.
