“A simple and clean place to stay”
Reviewed 24 July 2014

I booked a room for two nights in this hotel for my mother and father. Because he couldn't go, I spend two nights with my mother there. The hotel was clean, bathroom and room also. The breakfast was simple but you get what you need (different kinds of bread, milk, yogurt, marmelades, cornflakes, coffe, some fruits etc.). There is a 10-15 minutes wlak to te center but the bus stops right by so it's no problem to reach the city center.
There is a road right in front of the hotel, but It didnt bother us. The hotel has its own parking on the back. There is also a playground in the back of the hotel in the park (if you have childer traveling with you). From the playground you can reach also the shop -Spar (200m away) if you need water or some friuts. I would stay there another time.

Room is prfectly clean even the bathroom. There is brand new and pretty cool shower. Little bit noisy because the main road but the windows are new, so the most of the noise stay out.
The breakfast was okay. There aren't so many thing to eat but if it has perfectly tasteful.
The woman behind the counter at reception is helpful and kind. The man is kind but not helpful.
20min walk to the Old Town on the riverside.

Room Tip: The south side of the hotel is noisy because it is on the side of the main road.

For a 3 star hotel, it is very good value. All the staff are very friendly helpful and welcoming.
The breakfast is to a high standard and you can park your car free safely of the road.
Would use it again and would recommend it highly.

Room Tip: Chose a room away from the road

The Hotel is a small walk from the station (15 min) but the walk goes over the river and in good weather a 15 min walk is not really a bother... The room was very spacious, clean & comfortable with all amenities and even a balcony! The breakfast was basic but sufficient...the staff helpful and friendly...The only flipside was that there were no good eating joints nearby but then if you're out touring you'll probably be eating out anyways. There is a good bakery though very close to the Hotel which opens very early in the morning...

We arrived at this hotel using my sat nav, which was spot on. It was hot, and as we turned into the hotel area Stefan appeared to inform me where I could park and the entrance to the hotel. Things were soon organised, and a lift relieved us of carrying our cases up the various flights of stairs. We were in need of refreshment, and there is a lovely beer garden as part of this hotel. The next day we visited the lovely city of Salzburg, by bus, which we caught just aroung the corner from the hotel. Expensive at 2.10 euros for 5 minutes ride, no concessions. We spend the day visiting the city and the castle, and planned a boat ride to see more views, but this was cancelled due to the excessive rains and swollen river. The food at the hotel was excellent and reasonably priced, and the staff, as ever, normal in Europe, were very helpful, even when the language provided some smiles. I want to thank Stefan for making the effort to make us feel at home - he succeeded. As really good place to stay for the city visit if travelling by car.

Room Tip: Our room had been converted to include the ensuite, which many hotels have carried out over the last...

The hotel in general is very nice, but it has two different types of rooms. If you choose a budget room, you'll be getting a very small room with tiny bathroom which has no door but a curtain instead. But if you select a normal room, you'll get spacious nice room with everything. Also, be very careful on which side of a hotel is your room. If you face the main road, you'll hear a lot of noise from the street, but if it's looking at a parking space you'll have peace and quite. The hotel is very nicely decorated, everything is automatized. Breakfast is very basic but still ok. You can make a sandwich, have some fruit or cake with jam. The wi-fi was a bit of a problem, the signal was horrible. The staff is really friendly. Also, the hotel is not so near the center, so be prepared for a bit of a walk, about 20min. If the weather is nice, take a stroll by the river.

Room Tip: Don't take a budget room, add a bit more and have some peace and quite, and some more space.
