Goldenes Dachl appears twice in TA, once as Restaurant and here correctly as Gasthaus, but in either case it seems a safe bet that you will enjoy reasonably authentic Tyrolese food, served efficiently and at reasonable prices. We visited on Christmas day after church at nearby St Jakob's and found it packed with local clients. Indeed, it was so busy that we were asked to share a table with other guests. This turned out to be a nice part of the overall experience as we watched our neighbors smilingly return a beer as too warm and then tuck into big plates of schnitzel and kasespatzle. There are probably better menus and better settings in Innsbruck, but Goldenes Dachl seems a good proposition for anyone in the neighborhood and feeling peckish.
