This hotel is right in the old town, close to everything and has so much charm. The staff was great and the room was quite roomy with a full sized bathtub. The Hop on Hop off bus stop was close and that made it easy to move about the city and see all the sights. They sell the Innsbruck card right at the front desk--well worth it! We loved Innsbruck and our stay at this hotel!

The Goldener Adler is in the heart of the old town and perfect for exploring Innsbruck. The staff are great, so helpful and speak good English.
The hotel dates from the 14th century and is full of character, but the rooms are 21st century, super comfortable, with bathrooms to die for. Can't fualt the place.
The breakfast buffet is tremendous and we also had dinner, sitting outside and that was lovely too.

Room Tip: Room 101 on the first floor was wonderful.

The location of this hotel is spot on to everything you'll want to see and do. We booked a two-room suite and appreciated the extra room and amenities. Our room faced the street; which can be very noisy in the morning and evening so this isn't the room for you if you are a light sleeper. But this is how it is when you want a hotel in the heart of everything.

A delicious breakfast was included each morning and offered a nice variety. They have three areas to dine in and each area was so pretty with great lighting. We ate dinner in the restaurant twice and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food as we don't typically eat dinner in the hotel when traveling. When we didn't eat dinner at the hotel, we ended up at the hotel bar late in the evening for dessert and an after dinner drink. It was perfect!

The highlight of our trip was the staff. We enjoyed talking with Sasha in the restaurant, Nina at the front desk and (forgive me) the owners daughter in the restaurant with long black hair. She was a riot and I hope she enjoyed her trip to Holland.

We'll positively be back to this hotel as we loved Innsbruck and loved this hotel!

We had one night here and were very happy with our location, service, & room.
We requested a higher floor as needed a quiet room & the staff were happy to help. This hotel is literally in the old town mall and is very quaint but also has extras - tea/coffee, wifi etc. So easy to walk to the lanes & Congress stn to get to scenic rides up the mountain.

The location of the hotel is superb. That is if you don't mind the big tourist crowds that gather under the Golden Roof every day, which can be annoying. It's close to everything and surrounded by lots of cafés snd restaurants. The standard room is nothing to write home about, but is very clean with no toilet smell. Staff are helpful. They recommended the Innsbrook tourist pass which was good advice and helped us save quite a bit of money. We took the train to Seafeld which was really worthwhile as the journey was pleasant with beautiful scenery and the hiking trails plus the town itself were really lovely.
