“Very impolite”
Reviewed 2 January 2014 via mobile

With wife was waiting for a table with my 2 years old son in her arms, after 15 minutes a table was finally free but the owner gave the table for 2 persons to 3 guests just arrived. Very very impolite.

“Dark... but why..?”
Reviewed 22 April 2013

First, if you want to eat sushi in Innsbruck, you should first ask yourself why.
I didn't, and that was a big mistake.
The place is kind dark gothic: even if the intention of the owners was to make it sophisticated, the result is just kitsch.
The personnel does not speak english nor italian, and honestly neither it knows how to serve.
Fish is barely edible, the wine list reports the usual famous big names put together randomly and without neither taste, nor a reason.
Lastly, it is very expensive for what their offer (and even if their food would be decent, the price would remain too high).

“Bad service and bad sushi”
Reviewed 1 October 2012

I've been living in Innsbruck since July and I have yet to have found a good sushi place , there is no good fish in Tyrol . This restaurant has the worst service , the waitresses are rude and unprofessional , as or the sushi just nasty , no taste . The tuna roll is just plain tuna with rice nothing else ! The sushi has no taste and the prices are not ok for what you are getting . Try Kenzi or Kai its a bit better.

“Disappointed”
Reviewed 6 July 2011

I live in an area where sushi is hard to find & I was really looking forward to having some while I was traveling. Unfortunately, Sensei was a bit of a disappointment.
Food: Average. Sushi rolls were small & were not well made. A salmon/cream cheese roll should have cream cheese on each piece, not only half of them (same for spicy tuna).
Service: Terrible. The waitress for the outdoor area stood at her desk staring in to space the entire time I was there. The server spilled two whole beers right next to me (getting some on me) and didn't say a word before walking away.
If you're looking for something nice and exotic in Innsbruck, go elsewhere.
