Owner description: Our family has been organizing Tyrolean Evenings in Innsbruck since 1967 already, and for many people we are the musical ambassadors representing Innsbruck and Tyrolean Music around the world. Do not miss one of the best folk performances all across Europe which only includes authentic Tyrolean music, Folk dances and “shoe-slapping” as well as typical Tyrolean songs and “yodelling”. We entertain our national and international audience on a daily basis and it would be a pleasure to welcome you to one of our shows during your visit to the city of Innsbruck. Our Tyrolean Evening Shows take place daily from April through October at the Sandwirt Restaurant in Innsbruck. In addition, we provide a wide range of events during the winter season with Christmas Concerts and Tyrolean Evenings.
Useful Information: Wheelchair access, Bathroom facilities

An evening well spent..we saw the show and had a drink with Transfer for 25 euros per person.. the show was very entertaining with some very entertaining including slap-dancing, yodel-ing and performances on traditional tyrolean instruments. the best part was saved for the end when they sang songs of different countries based on the countries from where the visitors hailed.. had us smiling and clapping all the way! Including the Indian National Anthem. Worth every cent and would recommend using the Innsbruck Card as Saves you 9 euros.

My wife and I had a great time at the show and we would recommend the show to anyone going to Innsbruck. My wife enjoyed the slap dancing and I really enjoyed the miners dance with the entertaining surprise. If we were judging just the show it would be four stars but we opted for the dinner and wow it was not just a waste of money but bad as well. When we arrived we were told the dinner was soup, salad, schnitzel and apple strudel. We understand that this is an operation that is meant to get a large group of people fed fast but I have had MREs and microwave dinners that have tasted better than the food we were served. You could tell that the food was microwaved just by looking at it. For the price of the dinner you can go enjoy this great show and then go to a better place to eat afterwards.

With such high ratings, we decided that we had to try it. We were absolutely blown away with the show! Our teenager and pre-teen came with hesitations, but both wished the show had been longer! The dinner beforehand was good and authentic and located in the same building as the show (which is very convenient). We cannot say enough about the quality of the show...from beginning to end, it was a pleaser! A great experience and well worth the cost!

Whilst in Innsbruck, my family opted to watch a traditional Tyrolean performance by the Gundolf family for a different cultural experience. Coming from Asia, it was certainly an eye-opener. Initially, I was worried that my teenage children would be bored (I thought there would just be yodelling) but with the many high-energy varied short performances, these fears proved to be unfounded. Having organized such Tyrolean evenings since 1967, the Gundolf family has a long musical tradition with typical folk music. It's quite amazing to see and listen to the music made with the many interesting unique musical instruments such as country-harp, alphorn sounds, cow bells, zither, wooden xylophone, Hackbrett (a typical tyrolean string instrument) and even a singing saw! Besides the yodelling/songs, there were also dancing, some of which were very fun..and funny! Be prepared to stand up at the end of the show and sing aloud proudly when the performers sing a popular song from your country. We all did and it was certainly a nice way to end the evening.
