My husband surprised me with a two night stay at this 5 star hotel and it is definitely 5 star all the way. From arrival to departure, our every whim was catered to. Our car was quickly and quietly whisked away when we drove up to check in and complimentary appetizers were brought to our room once we settled in - along with a glass of champagne. Did I mention the chocolates and berries that were waiting for us in the room?

Everything is immaculate, the room is extremely comfortable and well appointed and the grounds are beautiful. The staff is very friendly, helpful and attentive.

Breakfast consisted of meats, cheeses, eggs specially prepared, croissants, rolls - juices, coffees - whatever you could imagine they had it.

We loved our time there and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for the best.

Room Tip: I was told by the front desk that all rooms are different. Choose any room and enjoy your stay.

The Tennerhof oozes charm and, while it ticks all five-star boxes, it also has a soul. The chef is brilliantly creative and the food alone warrants a visit. Breakfast is exceptional, the pools and gardens are lovely but above all, it is the ever-friendly staff that deserve the highest marks. Even the simpler restaurant at the Roemerhof offers local fare at reasonable prices but in a marvellous candle-lit atmosphere. Our room had its own fireplace and rarely have I slept so well. A small stream runs nearby, the sound of which putting the finishing touch on this alpine idyll. We stayed with our two boys (13 and 16) who blissfully hiked and biked thanks to the useful hints from reception. Bravo!

Beautiful and well managed property, one of the best Relais & Chateaux. An attentive service from a welcoming staff, well maintained surroundings, pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Good Kitchen; Great chef!

Room Tip: The large double bedrooms suite is amazing

We stayed 2 nights at Hotel Tennerhof during August. The grounds were gorgeous and the hotel was immaculate. I felt very well taken care of from the moment we arrived in the pouring rain-to when we left. The staff is so professional, polite and engaged. The breakfast is probably the best I've ever had while traveling Austria-but I suppose it should be and everything should be perfect because you are paying a high $$ to stay. We had dinner in the restaurant one evening. I thought the food was very artistic and for the most part enjoyable. A few at our table said their protein ( I think it was veal) was overcooked.....and they did tell the waiter to tell the chef. I loved the small bar-it felt so intimate-especially since we were the only ones there!

High standard hotel, well located, nice garden, external swimming pool a bit odd (…and cold), but overall quite ok. Personnel always present and very kind. Price maybe a bit high, but interstingly, few rooms (+/- 40), hence very calm.

Tennerhof is a wonderful hotel. The staff is so helpful and friendly, always smiling. They helped us plan our long hikes every day, printed us maps and asked us how our day had been when we came back.
This is a quite small hotel which we like, you can really feel that everybody working at the hotel are genuine making the best of your stay, making sure you are satisfied and happy.
And I have never seen such a polished and clean bathroom : ) The cleaning ladies are doing a fantastic job.

The food is really good, 5-course dinner every night, which you need when you've been hiking. The staff in the resturant is also doing a great job. We really appreciated the dinners. Lovely way to end the day.

The breakfast has everything you which for: Berries, homemade smoothies, yoghurts, homemade marmelad and jam, different hams, cheeses, many kinds of bread and the most fantastic scrambled eggs!
Everything is nicely displayed.

We have stayed at Relais & Chateaux earlier in Lech. Tennerhof is just as good as the Lech-hotel.
I highly recommend Tennerhof.
I cannot write anything bad about the hotel, but I hope they will try to be more environmental friendly and letting the guests have the option not to have sheets and towel exchanged each day. I feel that is unneccessay.
See you next year, Tennerhof!

Room Tip: We stayed in room 18, lovely room with balcony.
