Perfect food and wine cellar. SPA & Wellness are are clean and saunas are big. There is also outside pool where you can jump after sauna. Transfer to ski slopes are provided by hotel shuttle bus or my taxi (you are receiving voucher). Good value for money.

I have been in the hospitality business in excess of 30 years and to date the hotel school at Lausanne is held up as one of the shinning examples of where the best traditions of the hospitality industry is nurtured.

The birthplace of this industry {and its future } are however assured at properties like The Erika run most capably by the Schorer family.

No high tech welcome, just a good “old fashioned”smile and an ethos throughout the team where nothing is too much trouble.

I have had the pleasure of visiting here at first for our honeymoon, and on two subsequent occasions.
The last visit {a few days ago} was difficult to breakaway from ! The plan was to stay a nigh but eventually we stayed for 3.

The rooms are clean and well maintained , although since the last refit there are odd signs that some remedial work is necessary, but don't let that put you off, its still a wonderful building.

Food , never disappointed. I always think that the longer you stay the more chance there is of a poor meal............not here it just seams to get better.

If you have never been to Kitzbuhel then make this review your excuse to go......oh and by the way the scenery takes some beating !

We need to find a reason to return !

Room Tip: The old building has a little more character

Delightful, family run hotel. Larger than I had imagined, but with very friendly service, and attention from the staff. Room very comfortable with soft towels and bath robes. Food, which was table d’hote, was tasty and presented well.
We only stayed one night, but would return.

Bring your swimsuit and walking shoes to totally enjoy this lovely area and hotel:) This is a spa hotel and the indoor pool/ sun room and all looked great... and we forgot our suits:( But we still enjoyed the garden area, afternoon tea room, bar area and great dining room ... everything made this a very elegant, undated, though traditional hotel. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, our room was large and the breakfast buffet was one of the best we've enjoyed! We liked the 5 minute walk to the alt stadt and the beautiful alps were on display from the top of the gondola lift.... we walked our socks off:)

Room Tip: Room away from the street was quieter and had a lovely view of the mountains.

Just returned from Kitzbhuel. Hotel has excellent facilities, food lovely and staff most helpful. Free afternoon teas and first drink with evening meal a bonus. About 5 minutes from town centre. Upgraded to junior suite, however, these were at the front on a busy road. With the windows open due to high temperatures the room was noisy, even throughout the night. This would not be an issue in the winter when windows are closed.

We stayed in the Erika 16th June for a week. The hotel owners and staff are welcoming and really work hard at making your stay enjoyable. Although the weather was wet and the mountains wreathed in cloud for the first few days of our stay we had a super time due to the really excellent food, wine and service within the hotel. We enjoyed time in the spa area and afternoon tea was a welcome bonus. When the sun shone we realised what a beautiful area we were in and managed to fit in some superb walks. Mr Schroder gave a very informative pre-dinner tasting of Austrian wines and we loved the Zweigelt and the Gruiner Veitliner (hope we have spelt them correctly). It was noticeable that a number of fellow guests had been to the Erika on previous occasions and we too will look forward to returning next year.

Room Tip: We had room 62 (a standard room) overlooking the garden room and it was quiet with a nice view.
