i too am upset by the nasty review that has been posted on trip ,we have been returning customers to this hotel for a nember of years.Due to other commitments we havnt been for a couple of years.I cant believe that the standard has dropped so much in that time.Infact we have always said that the only thing wrong with this hotel is that the soap dispenser in the washroom was a fraction to far away from the sink. The food was always more than good with a selection of choices each evening, ,the roooms ,large clean and well furnished,The staff always more than happy to help. What more can people ask for.

I am not somebody who usually writes a review, but i felt compelled too after reading the nasty comments from the last review , My family consisting of myself my husband, two grown up children and my mum also stayed here for a week in February and cant speak highly enough of all the staff and Alyson in particular was very friendly and helpfull especially to my mum who isnt as mobile as she once was, Alyson gave her some great tips for getting around and for days out etc I realise that everybody is different and i cannot comment on their rooms, but our rooms were great, we all loved the food and the sauna and pool are just what you need to help you relax after a hard day skiing or so my children tell me. Kitz is a lovely place and i wouldnt hesitate to recommend this hotel. I loved the way the staff dress in traditional costume we were in Austria after all.

Stayed for a week in Feb and booked through a website from a Monday for 7 days, we booked a double and a suite.

On arrival we were greeted or not greeted by a English lady who appeared to be dressed up in Austrian attire which was the front of house. We were given our keys and not helped with our bags, showed where the rooms where or anything, these are basics in service. We carried our bags to the supposed suite which was quite frankly an excuse for a suite, summary an over size room with poor quality furniture, one sink priced at €2200 for bed and breakfast . Breakfast was ok every morning but pretty average.
This report is about service and quality but just a couple of examples, booking dinner with the helpful front of house called Alyson was a mission in it self, unhelpful and books the wrong places! Great! Also Sunday the bar was closed because the lady running the bar had not had a night off so what more than to close the bar for customers!
Highly recommend Kitz but stay clear from this place, over priced and dreadful service! If I was the Brunner family the first thing I would do is sack the lady at the front of house!!

In Austria we are holding traditions in high regards. That’s why our members of staff are wearing traditional Austrian costumes and our suites are partly furnished with antique cupboards. The suite was a 65 m² room with optically separated double bed and nice sitting area and its own sauna. We understand personal tastes might be different but nevertheless we, the family Brunner and all our staff members are trying to fulfil every wish of our guests.

Nice classic family hotel, in the old centre of Kitzbühel.
About 10 minutes walk from the Hahnenkamm, ski school and the railway station.
Food (breakfast and dinner) were excellent. The staff was brilliant and humoristic. They could handle kids with a big smile :-)
They had a kids' menu, but every combination of food was possible and dealt with in 5 minutes!! (very easy with a hungry 3 yo at the table!)
Small swimming pool, water was a bit too cold to enjoy for a longer time.
Very large and well decorated sauna!
Rooms were spacious, but maybe a bit outdated.
One big minus: Smoking allowed in the main bar. Not nice when you have small children with you.

We stay there for one week. We were three families and had different expectations. We all went back home with very good feelings. The hotel has a very good restaurant, maitre d' Laurent from Toulouse and his team are doing their best.
The hotel is located in the center of Kitzbühel and just 150 meter far way from the famous Hahnenkammbahn.
The hotel has an indoor pool and small, but efficient spa.
The only negative remark is for the slow wi-fi and the missing smile ot the barmaid.
