Just had a week in our favourite hotel ever. The Tiefenbrunner never ceases to please as we have stayed there many times before. The Staff are so friendly and very welcoming, food is wonderful with buffet breakfast to suit all tastes and a 5course evening meal with a choice of 3mains. The ambience of the whole place is so inviting and the Hotel is situated in the heart of the town. Rooms are so spacious and comfortable, spotless clean as is the whole Hotel, indoor swimming pool and wellness centre is an added bonus. Can't recommend this Hotel highly enough, you can sense the team work that goes into making the Tiefenbrunner run like a well oiled machine. Hopefully we will go back to Kitzbuhel and the Tiefenbrunner many more times as it really is a wonderful experience.

Room Tip: A Superior Room cost so little more and is well worth the upgrade.

This was our fourth stay at Tieffenbrunner and seventh stay in Kitzbuhel. All the hotels we have stayed in Kitzbuhel have been very good, but in a town full of high quality hotels the Tieffenbrunner has that something extra that makes it stand out above the crowd. The staff are friendly and very helpful, many are long term staff who you will get to know and see time and again if you return. The rooms are spacious and well fitted out, the spa and other facilities are excellent, the food equals the quality of being in a top quality restaurant every night, and the central location is possibly the best in Kitzbuhel - depending on your needs !

I stayed here for a week with my husband and son. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. It was well equipped with a safe, hair dryer and mini bar. The buffet breakfasts were plentiful with a good choice of options and the evening meals were very nice - five courses including salad bar and a choice of three main courses. On one night they had a dessert buffet which was excellent. The hotel has a lovely pool which is great if it is raining. The location of the hotel is great - it is on the edge of the main pedestrian area and the towns main bus stop is just behind the hotel. All of the staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel has a lovely atmosphere. The hotel produce a daily news sheet for guests which we found really useful as it has the weather forecast and tips for places to visit. I would not hesitate to stay here again if I return to Kitzbuhel as it is one of the nicest European hotels I have stayed in however I would avoid staying here for the annual summer festival as the music and PA system went on until 3.20 AM and it was so loud that even with the windows shut sleep was impossible for all of us (and we are all heavy sleepers)!

Spent a week in May here and really enjoyed it. They happily organised a birthday cake for my son via email and couldn't do enough for us. Service and food in the restaurant were excellent. Great location in the centre of the town . Really clean and public areas always spotless. Highly recommend.

Room Tip: Some people complained about rooms at the front if the hotel and you are facing on to the Main Stree...

Our first visit to this wonderful hotel. Maria Brunner and all her staff could not have been more helpful. Standards throughout the hotel were without fault and the spa area was a special treat with its pool, two saunas and a steam room. What impressed us most was the quiet efficiency of the hotel which seemed to run without fuss or incident - just what you need when on holiday. The central location meant you were never far from the action which included traditional music in the square and at the end of our weeks stay, the annual meet of the Innsbruck chapter of the Harley Davidson club - very entertaining. A very special hotel we would strongly recommend to travellers of all ages.

Room Tip: Rooms to the rear of the hotel are quieter and you get a view of the mountains

Visited/stayed in the Tieffenbrunner last week for the 15th time. We stayed there for 14 days and found,as heretofore, everything was to our satisfaction. A very welcoming hotel to visitors. Maria Brunner and her staff manage to keep standards very high. Would recommend this hotel to visitors of all ages.

Room Tip: We had a room with a balcony, cost a bit more but worth it for the views.

Loved the hotel from the minute we checked in! Friendly and helpful reception staff, nothing too much trouble.. Fabulous rooms, much bigger than expected with lovely views towards the mountains.. the spa is included with a pool and lounger chairs to look over the views, plenty of fresh towels.. They have a nice and quiet pretty garden accessed from the rear entrance which was lovely to sit and read in. Thoroughly enjoyed the meals, plenty of choice on the buffet breakfast and choices for the evening meal. Restaurant staff very efficient and helpful if something unsuitable on the menu. hotel is right in the centre of the pretty old town and has many bars, restaurants, shops, supermarkets close by. There was a free brass band concert when we stayed which was very good and held in the street by the hotel. Also close to the 2 railway stations plus the cable cars for more fab views... Close to get to many other towns too. will be back again!

Room Tip: don't think they have any bad rooms! Rooms at the rear for mountain views
