Stayed here during ski holiday with my partners family in March 08. We usually stay in a chalet as we enjoy the privacy and comfort , but found that the hotel experience at Tirolerhof proved just as good.

Our rooms were very clean and spacious with private balconies. The public areas were also very cosy and nicely fitted out. The dining room and the large lounge / bar area had an intimate atmosphere and very personable service. The food, as has been mentioned, was abundant and of good quality. The spa room, in particular, was fantastic and a lovely retreat that we enjoyed having especially on bad weather days!

Although the hotel isn't in the main part of Kitzbuhel, it's only a short 15 minute walk away and there are plenty taxis going around and a free ski bus that stops at the hotel.

Hotel high - relaxing in the spa or in the lounge with apres ski tea and cake
Hotel low - expensive wine and paying for water in the restaurant

We stayed here in Feb 07 as part of a Ski Holiday. The hotel is really nice although its a little out of town but the free ski bus runs all day from outside the hotel and takes about 5-10 minutes which always helps.

The food was excellent as the restaurant has an A la Carta Menu, but the drinks are a little on the pricey side, but free cakes and tea/coffee are served at around 4pm which is a nice touch!

The hotel does benefit from a Wellness Centre and Ski room.

Kitzbuhel is a lovely town with many bars, restaurants and shops. If you fancy eating out there is a traditional restaurant near the glass elevator in the town which is really good and cheap. (Cannot remember the name, but everyone knows where the glass elevator is !)

We stayed at the Tirolerhof from 11-18 August 2007 and right from the start we were treated fantastically well. We arrived late in the evening with four other guests but were immediately sat in the dining room and given an excellent meal.
Tirolerhof is a wonderful mid-size family run hotel and it is clear that their emphasis is on looking after their guests. It is clean and comfortable and in a nice location, not in the town but not too far away. Our room had it's own roomy balcony with an excellent view looking out onto fields and a green hill, whilst just to the left in the distance you could see mountains.
The room was nicely set out, clean but fairly basic. There was a TV on which you could get CNN for the news but I missed not being able to make a cup of tea.
In the Restaurant the food was excellent and the staff were at all times friendly, attentive and helpful with a special mention here for Rheingard on Reception and Franz the waiter who looked after all the guests with great diligence.
Oh, and watch out for Diego, the placid hotel dog, who has a habit of lying down and going to sleep wherever it suits him!

The Tirolerhof is an exellent hotel, it's warm and comfortable the staff were great, the food was great and you can easliy walk into town in 15 - 20 minutes, although the free ski bus stops right outside. The wine in the restaurant is expensive though so buy it from the supermarket down the road.

A fantastic hotel, the food was perfect, the staff were wonderful, friendly and could not do enough for you, the hotel was clean and wonderful decoration, log fire, candles, very relaxing after hard a day skiing. The town was "WOW" pastry shops, clothes shops, swanky bars, very very classy area. The ski slopes, there were loads to choose from, almost a different slope every day! The restaurants on the mountains were great, lovely food and plently of gluwein!, the prices were not to bad. We rented our ski boots, poles and skis from Intersport which is next to the godalas they were rather expensive but good quality so dont mind paying, Kitzbuhel is an up and coming area and i can see why! WOW, wonderful.

Very nice hotel easily within walking distance from the centre of town. Excellent dinners and a relaxed atmosphere in the bar. The biggest surprise was the lovely spa which was a welcome relief for the aching legs!

Our first time in Austria and thanks to the brilliant staff at the Tirolerhof, we'll be back!
The food is 5 star and excellently served. The receptionist - Rheingard went out of her way to help us when we had a problem with our hire car (saving us about £350 had we dealt with it through the hire people)
The hotel is ideal for couples - not to good for young children.
Situated in a lovely quiet area out of town, with beatiful views over the mountains.
