We've recently returned from a stay at this hotel and were really impressed - the staff were sooo friendly and welcoming and the place was spotless and felt every bit as good as we'd hoped it would. The evening meals included in the half board were interesting and enjoyable - some of the dishes were a little odd but being given each day's menu in english in a morning and again to refer back to on a night kept us entertained. Breakfast left us full to burst too. Switching between German and English seamlessly the staff were very helpful. And if you skipped lunch while you were out the 'hearty' snack served between 4-5pm was more than enough to call this full board. We only had two very minor issues - a leaky sink and a dripping flower basket above our balcony - both were sorted very quickly and with sincere apologies from reception. The pool was lovely and cool given we'd 30-35 degree heat during our stay and any worries we had about noise from the cable cars coming past were unfounded... the anouncements from the nearby railway station were louder but not so that we could hear what they were. All in all a good location, wonderful welcome and comfortable room made this a lovely place to stay.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the cable car/garden were nice but the first floor is at ground level at that side of t...

This hotel is wonderful and all the staff are very helpful and friendly and the food is excellent. We booked this hotel in advance for a week in June and were disappointed when our travel agent rang the day before we travelled to say the hotel had overbooked and we had to spend the first 3 nights in its sister hotel. However, when we arrived the sister hotel (the Schweizerhof) was just across the road and was lovely, friendly and welcoming and they gave us a lovely room with a wonderful view. When we transferred to the Kaiserhof, the staff were very helpful, moving our suitcases, etc. They also were very welcoming and apologetic and we received a room upgrade, wine and chocolates. The rooms are very spacious and luxurious and we had a lovely terrace. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The location just near the Hahnenkamm gondola is brilliant, with just a short walk into the centre of town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it.

Just returned from a weeks stay here with my wife. We were at the hotel 12 months ago and it is still excellent. Could not find fault with the room (322) which has views over town towards the Horn. The food was very good indeed and the staff excellent, brilliant stay. The main building does not have air conditioning and can get a little warm in hot weather.

Room Tip: 322 has a good view.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel while on a 3 week trip to Europe and found it to be a beautiful hotel, maintained and updated to the highest standards. This is not a "mom and pop" type hotel. It is staffed and has amenities like much larger hotels, but still offers personal services and friendliness like smaller, family owned and on site run hotels. We booked directly from Best Western and reserved the standard double, but ended up in the superior double. Our room was not very large, but was immaculately clean, tastefully furnished and had very comfortable beds. The bathroom was a good size and was modern and beautifully appointed. It had a balcony facing toward the town and the mountains beyond. This room had climate control/air conditioning. The included breakfast was outstanding. In addition to a huge buffet offering, made to order omelets, eggs, waffles and freshly squeezed juices were offered. We ate dinner in the restaurant one evening and had the set menu, reasonably priced at 25 euros. The dinner was delicious. All of the employees were very friendly, efficient and helpful. Our only complaint, and it was troubling and somewhat embarrassing for us, had more to do with the Best Western website than it did with the hotel or staff. We chose and booked our room based on the room description and amenities as laid out under each room category on their website. As shown on their web page, the standard double and the superior double had basically the same amenities other than the superior was a little larger and had a balcony. Each room listed "heating/cooling 18-26 Celsius" as an amenity. We assumed, that they both had climate control in the room. We found out that this assumption was incorrect, that only the superior room had climate control. I had printouts of our reservation with all room info on it and have since gone back to BW's site to see how I could have misunderstood, and I still see it the same way. The amenities lists are very detailed and include things such as number of coat hangers and what kind of glasses are provided in the bathroom. They should make it more clear about whether there is or is not climate control in a room. Diana handled the situation in a professional manner even though the problem was no fault of theirs, but of their confusing room amenities description on the Best Western site. Except for that one problem, we enjoyed our stay, would stay there again and would recommend it to family and friends.

Just returned from our second visit and it’s nice to see the high standards have been maintained. The food is top quality with an enormous choice for breakfast and dinner along with a fabulous wine list. Unfortunately the hotel had double booked our room for the first 3 days owing to a large conference taking place so we had to stay across the road at the Schweizerhof, a very nice hotel but not quite up to this standard. The hotel was very apologetic and kindly upgraded our room along with a free bottle of wine. This is a sign of a good hotel, when a problem like this arises it is sorted out without any fuss and without having to ask, this makes a good hotel a great hotel.
The main reason for staying here in my opinion is the quality of the staff. From the moment you check in until you check out there is always a nice smile and a pleasant greeting from every department.
Can’t really fault anything, nor could I last time so looking forward to our third visit in the near future.

Room Tip: Upgrade if you can afford it

The hotel is situated just 2 minutes walking distance to the station of the Hahnenkamm cable car which takes you right up to the famous Hahnenkamm (not only in winter). Kitzbuehel down town is also just a stone´s throw away. All of the shops, bars and restaurants can be reached within a few minutes. The hotel itself looks very nice. A good mix of traditional and modern architecture. Everything is clean and maintained very well. We had a very nice and spacious suite with two seperate rooms and approx. 45sqm? It was equipped with two flat screens (one in each room), a large balcony and a spacious bath room with shower and whirl-bath tub. The stuff was very friendly and helpful without any exceptions. The dinner was very good. We had booked half-board for our stay. A 4 course menu was served (various dishes for choice). Also a salad buffet and cheese buffet was included. Half board was charged with € 25,00 per person only. More than fair! As well the extensive breakfast buffet was very good. You will find everything you expect and even more. There is a very nice terrace right next to the restaurant. If you are lucky (as we were) and wake up with sunshine you can enjoy your breakfast outside. I am quiet sure, the SPA area is very nice as well but we had no time to use it. What a shame. For sure I will come back to the Kaiserhof. Thank you to all the staff for making us feel at home!
