Had dinner there this evening on the recommendation of a friend who is local to Kitzbuhel, and who had her wedding here some years ago. I can't comment on the accommodation, but the dinner was very good. The accent is on traditional Austrian food, so lots of beef and pork, and duck which comes recommended in the menu. The meats were very good, especially the pork, and the portion are very generous which makes them good value for the price.
Sadly, I can't say the same for the wine. I'd you ask for the wine list, you get a book that weighs 10 kgs, and there is not much choice by the glass. I asked for a 50 cl carafe, and was told we had to have a bottle. Not pleased and especially when I saw the cost.
The high point of the evening is Rosi's singing, and as touristy as it seems, it is well worth the effort as it usually turns into something of a singalong.
I wish we had come earlier in the evening, as the views are stunning, and if you can ignore the hard sell on the wine, you will have a wonderful time.
