I have just returned from a 6 day visit to this hotel.
The welcome on arrival and whenever you saw a member of staff was friendly and with a smile and nothing was too much.
The room was large with a very comfortable bed and additional settee and kept spotlessly clean
If you wanted to stay in a hotel which was not in the city centre but easily accessible I would certainly recommend this hotel.
I would definately stay again on any future visit to Vienna

It's definitely not a 4-star hotel. While our room was really large and well furnished, no other features were 4-star. For example, not all staff members speak English. The breakfast was good, but selection of dishes was rather limited and breakfast got a little boring on 3rd day of our stay.
On the other hand, the location of the hotel is quite good (10 minutes walk from Schonebrunn Palace and subway station, quiet neighbourhood, easy to get there by car, free parking space), the staff was very helpful and price was very good. Had the hotel 3-star rating, I wouldn't complain at all, but for 4-star hotel there isn't enough.

We spent 4 nights at this hotel, during our last stay in January 2012. Rooms are excellent large, very clean, separate heating unit for each unit. We were very satisfied with all the service provided. Highly reccommend this hotel for your stay in Vienna. It is close to Schoenbrunn, to Zoo, the city traffic connection, a handy shop is situated around 200 metres from the hotel.

Expensive stay and little comfort, there is no elevator, old fashioned, close to the subway and local shops, quiet, nice staff, but I would not recommend et all.

We stayed in the Ambrosia Suite & were surprised by how nice it is. The entire hotel, courtyard, etc is adorable. Our room was massive - 2 couches & a king bed. The bathroom was divided, one room for a toilet & 1 room for tub/shower & sink. The only complaint we had is that the water pressure was a bit weak and there was no shower curtains/doors. So unless you bathed you weren't able to wash!

The hotel was not difficult to find and there were decent places to eat within walking distance. We didn't eat at the hotel, though the breakfast was really fantastic & we can only assume the same is true of dinner. Thumbs up.
