Check in has to be done at hotel down the road. The staff there were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately Internet and wifi also only available at the hotel which was inconvenient as was the fact that there was no staff actually located at the pension. The room itself was satisfactory although the bathroom walls are see through when the lights are on. Quite far from town although lots of public transport nearby. Couldn't find a nice restaurant in the area although there is a supermarket across from the hotel which had nice food for breakfast or a picnic lunch.

The room was very nice, modern and clean. It is very near to the train station which is convenient if travelling by train but is not very close to te city centre, allthough you can take the subway ang it only takes 15 minutes or so to get there. Also, near the pension was hard to find nice restaurants.

Staff was kind, but that's all.

Check-in, wi-fi, and breakfast were available at boutique hoteal, one block away.
a-minute walk to tram line (beingasse) but very isolated in the night.

House was clean, but too small.
I could not open the door, because people walked just next the window.
Room was very cold with inefficient warming radiator.
Very nosy outside and no air ventilator in the room.

The hotel was very easy to reach by train station and the metro with a 10 min walk. The check-in was at a beautiful hotel about a block away. The pension had a very secure entrance. The room had modern décor and was very clean. It had a lounging area with a couch and a table and a small flat screen TV. The bed was ok, but the pillows were terrible. The bathroom was a perfectly functional built-in wall unit with a red glass enclusure, which gave the room a relaxing ambiance. The room also had a nice garden view!

We tried to save money and opted to stay in the pension instead of the hotel. On hindsight, we should have stayed in the boutique hotel because there is not much price difference....

The hotel is very well located with tram stops around the corner and Westbanhof Railway station 10 minutes walk away. There are pubs and restaurants around and Billa (a supermarket) is just right opposite the hotel! Guests at the pension can use the hotel lobby and the free internet there. The hotel lobby is warm, cosy, intimate and well designed. The staff are warm, exellent and very very helpful!

The pension is across the block from the hotel and is more basic as compared to the hotel. Nevertheless, it's well worth the price. The toilets is like some pre-fabricated unit that is installed in the room but with decent ceramic wares and nice and warm shower. Not much complain about that. Only problem was we got a room looking into the courtyard that the rubbish bins were in so we kept the windows closed most of the time. Also, since the guests service counter is in the hotel across the street, we didn't bother to ask for a change of room. Clenliness was decent.

Downside was no drinking water and no kettle to boil your own water in the pension... but hey, we can't complain for what we are paying for. Still, we wished we had paid 20-40 euros more for the hotel...

This pension is located about 10 minutes from the center of Vienna (by Metro), near the Westbahnhof train station. It is linked to the Hotel Stadthalle, a lovely boutique hotel just a block away, where you can have your breakfast (expensive and not included) and use the PCs in the lobby. There is no staff in the Pension building.
The Pension is very quiet, the rooms are quite simple but have been renovated recently and are nice.
The bathroom is built in a sort of booth literally INSIDE the room and doesn't offer much privacy: the walls are made of satinated glass, so you can see the person moving inside and hear everything.

This hotel is the one that offered us worht our money in Vienna. Agreed BF is not included but the room is clean and airy, very comfortable. I like the fact that one could access the basic amenities like bar and internet at the nearby hotel while you lived at the pension. The bathroom is a little inconvienent but its managable. Its a 10 min walk to the westbahnhof station and not as close as the website might claim but over all it was very easy to get to the train station to go to wherever we needed to. I would certainly consider staying here again just as the price is worth it.
