Need to top up money for pillow & duvet cover sheet. Bring your own sleeping bag if you would like to save cost or for hygienic purpose.
Free wifi only available at the lobby, you gonna pay more if you would like to connect wifi in your room.
The only good thing about this hostel is it is near to Metro station & there are supermarket & a shopping mall nearby.

Hotel and Hostel is part of the budget network, operating also in Germany and in the Czech Republic. We stayed in the hotel part, in a two bed room. The biggest advantage is the price, it is really cheap, especially in comparison to Vienna accommodation prices. The hotel rooms are very basic, but they are also really clean. Beds were quite comfortable. The bathroom was very clean, quite large and generally of a higher standard than the room. There were a lot of families with children both in the hostel and hostel, and the atmosphere looks to be friendly and safe. You can also buy breakfast token for 6 euros – it was excellent for this price: buffet offers a large selection of meats, cheeses, muesli, also eggs, salads, vegetables, jams, honey, quite a selection of teas and coffee. Staff was competent and friendly, and there was no problem in communicating in English. Wi-fi access outside the lobby is charged (I bought 7 days access for 10 euro), but it was working fine.
Of course such a hotel of the basic standard is not the place for spending time during the day. The location is very good for active tourists, as the base for visiting the highlights of the city and surrounding areas. Two underground stations, as well as bus and tram stops are in the nearby. The center is also in a walk distance, you can get there in 15 minutes, and in less than 10 minutes on foot you can get to the Westbahnhof (one tube stop or two tram stops). That is true, that the hotel is situated on the border of the "ethnic" area but in my opinion the area is safe. It is the place typical for surroundings of main railway stations in many Western European cities. You can find many Turkish and African shops and bars in nearby, and even if there are some sex shops and cabin videos (rather declining) anybody will not force you to enter :-).
But there are two real disadvantages. The first is the noise: the building is facing the multilane street and all the time it's loud (of course with this standard you can not expect any air conditioning). Most of the rooms have windows from the street side, which is also the sunny side. That means that during hot weather the building is heated by the sun – so try to ask for a room on the opposite ends of the building, then (as in our case) all the time the room will be cool (during our stay there was 39 degrees Celsius in the shade).
All in all it is a very good place for active travellers.

This hostel/hotel is a nice and cheap place to stay in Wien. There is a good shopping mall nearby and the ubahn is just 100m far. It's a clean place with a nice breakfast too. The elevator doesn't work very well. So try to choose the rooms from first or second floor.

Room Tip: The elevator doesn't work very well. So try to choose the rooms from first or second floor.

We stayed here for three nights (hotel side), room was neat and semi modern. Although it feels like walking in a maize to get to your room. Its easy enough to get to the train station and there is a shopping mall nearby with restaurants. Our last morning we had to leave quite early, just after breakfast. However due to the public holiday there was no breakfast served until 1 hour later. Which would have been fine if anybody had told us at check in because you had to buy tokens at reception for breakfast then. The young man at reception was a bit rude when we ask to at least get a cup of coffee for our 12 euro paid for breakfast(2 people). And of all the types of coffees available on the machine he gave us the smallest single espresso and a bad attitude!! Unbelievable. Most expensive coffee ever. Bad customer service and no problem solving skills, something for the managers to think about!

I enjoyed staying at this hotel on my first visit to Vienna. It is just a 2 minutes walking to Bahnhof Train Station. Room was clean and staffs were friendly. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. Next time when I go to Vienna, I don't look for other hotels to stay.

I actually really enjoyed this hotel. I had a single room and it was perfect for my solo traveling needs. The free wifi in the lobby was an added bonus, it's near the west bahnhof train station, and u-bahn trains. The desk staff were amazing --- very helpful, really took the time to make sure your questions were fully answered and you were comfortable proceeding about the city. I highly recommend this place - there are hotel rooms and hostel rooms (and plenty of stairs! But that's all of Europe, really.). The only thing I was told by a local is don't stop in any of the bars you see lining the street between the train station and the hotel --- these are known for seedy activities (and prostitution). You don't want anyone getting the wrong idea so even if you just walk down a little further in either direction - beyond the hotel going to the left if its at your back and you're facing the street, and to your right beyond the west bahnhof, you'll be fine! I'd stay here again for sure.
