“great location if you like to take public transport”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 December 2013

stayed here for a week as our daughter attended language school around the corner so very convenient for us. apartment is ok for family though only one seperate bedroom. apatments facing road are noisy which might annoy some people who are light sleepers. location is great with the renweg train station around corner. vienna public transport great. we got weekly tickets for about 16eu and travelled everywhere. there is not much shopping near the appartments. Also the bank austria was good for changing euro to czech currency. tv small but didnt use it. it has fast internet though

Stayed 5 days in the apartment in late November. Spacious, warm, nice bathroom, basic but functional kitchen area. Clean and light, view into next doors fitness centre. Easy key pick up - a phone call and a 10 minute wait. Fantastic transport links. Literally 60 seconds until you are on the S bahn platform - direct train to the airport. 71 tram stop outside the building door, straight into the centre of the city within 10 minutes. One block away from the delightful botanical garden, 10 minutes walk from the summer palace. Vienna transport system a joy to use and cheap as chips!!

First of all it is in a nice area. There is the savoy hotel, nh hotel, etc around it. It is less than half an hour to walk to the stephanplatz dome. But you walk a lot that it is usually pain to walk back that taxi is only 10 euros, less than the paking which is 3.6 per hour until 6 pm.

We were 4 people, the apartment has 2 rooms, so it was more then enough. It was clean. We did not use the kitchen but there was kitchen. Tv was ok, there is a hifi system which was good to have if you are to stay long.

The pillows were not good, one pf the beds spring was also broken, we did not mind as we were very tired after long walks.
The recommended parking P+R area is very cheap and easy to access to the apartment

We've stayed here once before so we knew what to expect. The building itself is in a fantastic location, right on the main train line from the airport, as well as tram lines 71 & 0. Once you get your key from the secure box at the entrance, you find yourself inside a typical vienna apartment block hallway. It's grand, if showing its age. There are ten or so steps to get your luggage up before you can get to the lift. The steps are shallow and not to daunting. The lift itself is small so you may find yourself making several trips if you've a lot of luggage.

Inside the apartment, things look very modern. The kitchen is part of the living space along with a nice dining table for two. The cooking facilities are fine without being fantastic. A dual ring hob and a microwave oven are all you get to cook food with. Underneath the hob is the fridge with a small ice box. There's a nice slim line dish washer as well to keep the dishes clean and you have access to both tea and coffee makers. The main living area features a two seat couch, desk and chair, a set of wardrobes and a tv with DVD player and hifi unit on the far wall. The tv is far to small for the apartment to be honest, and is of the old 4:3 style, meaning channels broadcast in widescreen appear even smaller on the screen.

Behind the partition wall is the main bed. It's comfortable and cosy. Next to that is the bathroom which features a shower cubicle, sink and toilet. It's all very modern and clean.

We stayed during the recent hot spell and to be honest, the small desk fan provided did little to help mitigate the 38°c heat on some days. So better cooling for the walk summer months would be appriciated.

The fact your so close to the road is a downside, but in a city its always a compromise between street noise and convenient location.

We loved our stay at this time although the lack of a full oven and small tv stop me from giving it five stars. It's a great location with just a few downsides.

We stayed for 10 days at the end of May. Great location on tram 71 into town and right next to SBahn to airport. Easy check-in with key left in coded key box. Very safe, and lots of room with comfortable beds. 2 burner cooktop and microwave with enough pots for cooking simple meals. Great bath. We were given C106 -- called a "loft apartment" on booking. Lots of light and a view of the street. Unfortunately, the tram runs right below the apartment and there is other traffic so it was noisy early in the AM until later in the evening. If you come in summer, you will want to sleep with open windows (no AC) and this will be a problem with street noise drowning out the small TV at times and disturbing your sleep if you are used to quiet. With windows closed, the double glazing dulls the sounds. We would stay again if we could get a quieter location on the other side of the building.

Room Tip: Ask for a room OFF of Renweg for less street noise.

Great location, quiet, clean and with all amenities. Very good attitude, with tips from the administration. Nearby are the tram to the city center and S-Bahn. The existence of the DVD was very comfortable for the kids to watch a movie in the morning.

The apartment we were in was comfortable, clean and beautiful. Located in a very convenient location, close to transportation hub from which you can get to anywhere in the city. Wonderful, fast service.
