After much walking enjoying the highliights, we had the classic meal of Schnitzel at this restaurant.

If I was asked if it was the best Schnitzel we have had, the answer would be No. However, it was good, the service was quick, and it’s a world renown place.

Oh and the Schnitzel was huge!

Despite line all the way along the facade, it was worth the wait. Best wienerschnitzel I've ever tasted. Side-dishes were tailored to match the main course. Friendly and helpful staff, nice atmosphere. Will definitely come again.

We were recommended this by our hotel but it was a big disappointment .perhaps it didn’t help that we felt our table was in a corridor to the kitchen and it is a bit of a maze .
The food was disappointing.in fact the liver was awful.we wanted to see the calf that that calves liver came from because we think it must have had a snout.it was bad.the rest was ok and the place seems popular with locals who all seemed to eat the beef or schnitzel- maybe they Knew.the service was fine and the wine OK.
Would not go back or recommend which is a shame as it must have been a pedigree place at some time.the pork schnitzel is a decent speciality.£90 for 2.

Visited this place today for a dinner.
We have ordered a place 2 months ago.

We ordered 2 chicken schnitzles and 2 side dishes. The shcnitzles were tasty.
The side dishes were extremely average (mesh potatos and butter rice).

To sum up, dont go there if you have not ordered a place from ahead.
Ate better wien schnitzles.

Just happened to come across this restaurant and ventured in with a reservation. Didn't have to wait long for a table, but while we were there they started to queue outside. Service was great and very quick. We didn't want a big lunch so just had some soup, mixed salad and deep fried emmenthal. The cheese came up deep fried and three large pieces, luckily we were sharing! Great atmosphere and waiters very friendly. Would recommend the experience.
