“Large portion but salty! ”

We were staying at a nearby hostel and this was recommended to us. They have a decent menu selection. The portions were quite large and price was reasonable (8-11 ?). However I must say the food was overly salty. I'd come back again if I really needed to but I'd ask for less salt when ordering.

“Average quality ”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 May 2014 via mobile

I was expecting something better based on the various comments.
The food was not bad but we tried a few other similar restaurants in Vienna with clearly better food quality. Service was good although was full already from 18.00 o clock.
Prices as expected approximately 20€ per person including bier.

“excellent atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 May 2014

If you book a hotel near or around don't forget to have at least one meal (breakfast, lunch or dinner) at Mariahilferbrau. Crispy delicious and huge local snitzel in all flavours and a unique variety of beers probably will make you to go back again and again. Reasonable prices for the big portions warm atmosphere and very good service by giving you menu in your language if you don't speak german. The staff is very helpfull and smiling and serves your meal wearing traditional tyrolian clothes.Ribs dish is amazing as a portion and as it is served but usually needs two to finish it.
If you don't leave in this area and you want to pay a visit it is very easy by metro stops at westbanhof which is only 3 blocks away from the restaurant on the main road. Remember that the service starts early in the morning for breakfast and it stops before 21.00 hrs when the entrance is closing but not the restaurant if you are in and you want to finish relaxed your meal or your drink. THANK YOU MARIAHILFER BRAU GUYS FOR THE GOOD TIME AND SERVICE!!!

“Terrific in every way”

I have eaten there at least three times and it was great each time. The menu has lots of choices, portions are large and the quality is superb. I had back-ribs and they were wonderful.
