Owner description: Experience one of the world's foremost museums! Let yourself be enchanted by works spanning five millennia, from Ancient Egypt to the modern era. Experience unique major works by Dürer, Raphael, Titian and Velázquez as well as the world's largest collection of Bruegel paintings, all in a magnificent setting. The Kunstkammer Vienna, featuring the famous Saliera by Benvenuto Cellini, is a veritable universe of art and beauty guaranteed to transform any visit into an unforgettable experience. Included in the ticket are the collections at the Neue Burg on the opposite side of Vienna's Ringstrasse. Here you will see the instruments used by the great composers and be transported back to chivalrous times when knights held sway and tourneys and hunting shaped courtly life.

A remarkable collection of paintings is only one of the attractions that make a visit to this museum more than worthwhile.

“Not Enough Time”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 June 2014

So wanted to visit here and could only marvel at the building as we ran out of that valuable commodity - time. If the stunning and relatively modern building is anything to go by we missed something here and then I read the Tripadvisor reviews and nearly cried in dismay.

“Great Museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 June 2014

Although Vienna is not what I would call a major European capital, its art museum is world class. The collection is superb and includes Rembrandt, Velasquez, Rubens, and a major Vermeer. It also has the world's largest collection of Bruegel. Also, the building itself is a work of art. Be sure to have lunch or a snack in the stunning cafe.

We are real art lovers & this museum did not disappoint. We were lucky enough to see the Faberge exhibit in March. Give yourself the gift of time for this museum
