Experience unique major works by Dürer, Raphael, Titian and Velázquez as well as the world's largest collection of Bruegel paintings, all in a magnificent setting. The Kunstkammer Vienna, featuring the famous Saliera by Benvenuto Cellini, is a veritable universe of art and beauty guaranteed to transform any visit into an unforgettable experience. Included in the ticket are the collections at the Neue Burg on the opposite side of Vienna's Ringstrasse. “One of the must do if you are interested in art”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 September 2014

The Kunsthistorische Museum is to be mentioned in one sentence with the Louvre, the Rijksmuseum, Prado and British Museum. Impressive collection of painints, sculptures, books, coins and many things more! Reserve the time to explore. But also if you are not so much interested in art - worth to have a peek!!

“Well laid out”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 August 2014

The museum is a nice walking distance from the shopping area and other attractions in Vienna. The museum has an excellent permanent collection (from mummies to modern art) as well as featured pieces. Gift shop is good. This is a place that you need 2-3 hours

“A Cornucopia of Breughels”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 August 2014

More Breughel -- Elder, Younger, Son -- than anywhere I know of. And a well-organized display in a gorgeous setting. I spent the whole day and still saw only some of it. A perfect escape from the rain!

“Unmissable. Top class museum.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 August 2014

A real gem. The stairway alone could worth the visit. Everything spells beauty, grandeur, fine taste. We went there mainly for the picture gallery. It was an immense pleasure to walk trough beautiful halls, differing from colors but each with comfy sofa to rest a little while admiring the many masterpieces: Raffaello' Arcimboldo, Peter Brueghel the Elder among those to remember.

“Wow!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 August 2014

This museum is a must, it displays the full Habsburg collection across centuries and is one of the most impressive museum I have visited so far. The collection and quality of Egyptian, Greek and Roman statues is outstanding. The museum has been build for this collection and is just impressive from A to Z...
