Very much enjoyed our 5 night stay at this perfectly located and professionally staffed hotel.
Our room was excellent: large, well furnished and very quiet. The staff couldn't have been
more helpful. We enjoyed the restaurant, the bar and, of course, the marvelous breakfasts
which are as good as it gets. We were made to feel very comfortable and look forward to a
return visit. We had the pleasure of visiting the sister hotel in Salzburg and you can't go wrong staying at a Sacher.

Staying in a firts class Hotel in Austria is an experience everyone should try once in a lifetime. Might be the tone of the voice of my austrian fellow citizen, might the long lasting tradition in hospitality, the final result is a real home away from home feeling.

And this totally applies to every single staff member of the Hotel Sacher who helped me out in managing the daily little issues a traveler faces. Thank you!

We cannot praise The Sacher Wien highly enough. Our room was luxurious, the hotel itself was beautiful particularly The Blue Bar and the food delicious. Staff even called us by name in the coffee shop which was open to the public. If you can tear yourself away from the hotel you won't have to travel far for all the major attractions and again staff gave great advice as to what to do with your time and where to eat etc.

I stayed here with my family of 5 (3 kids) from 9-15 and we loved it... small hotel but spacious rooms and bathrooms... try going for the handicapped rooms which were spacious :D but overall love the location because next to opera house and nice sandwhich and coffee cafes... Also shopping mall close... But do not eat breakfast there because overpriced and next door are nice breakfast places... i recomment cafe mozart which was excellent

We stayed at the Sacher for 2 nights to celebrate my wife's birthday. Not only was the hotel stunningly beautiful and elegant, the service was outstanding and the staff did everything they could to make our stay as special as possible. From the complimentary champagne, room upgrade to a Deluxe room and Sacher Torte, to wishes of happy birthday from almost everyone we encountered as well as large beaming smiles.

It is often easy to lose track of what makes a hotel special - it is not only the decor but the attitude of the staff, and it was a pleasure to see that the Sacher has not lost sight of that. We had a truly memorable stay.

We have been staying in Sacher for a couple of years. This is one of the best places to stay in Wien. Exceptional location, most welcoming staff, and very good rooms. We stayed there again in the end of October and it is very pleasant to say that Sacher has the same highest quality service as it used to have two and three years ago. We had an upgrade to two junior suites with the great view at Albertina. It is not so often that we keep returning to the same hotel when going for vacation. Sacher is no. one for us in Wien.

Room Tip: choose the room with a view at Albertina if if is available .

We had one night at the Sacher to complete a memorable journey from Prague to Vienna. In terms of hotels, this was clearly the highlight. Its location is very convenient to all the sites, museums, opera and music halls. The decor of our room was sumptuous. The size of our Deluxe Room was more than adequate. The King Bed was most comfortable. Though we had a inward facing room, this turned out to be a blessing as those in the group with a room with a view complained about the traffic noise. The bathroom was impressive. This is a classic, luxury hotel in true European style. My only complaint - well I don't like any hotel staff to be arrogant but at the same time I don't like them to be obsequious either. The Sacher has yet to get this balance right. I certainly did not feel comfortable.

Room Tip: Rooms facing inwards are the quietest.
