Organized an off-site work conference here. Facility was nice. Rooms were great, staff was friendly. The concierge was very helpful before & during our stay, helping us plan various excursions. Would definitely go back on my own!

The hotel has a splendid atmosphere, with a traditional Austrian look and feel. The location is excellent and staff is very professional - for Austrian standards. The room size however is confining and prizes are through the roof. If at least the hotel would offer a few amenities (spa) but there is virtually nothing.

Room Tip: Vienna has a lot of high class hotels these days...

As we were arriving late off our train our friends from Black Forrest suggested this hotel. We booked it from the train and we had no problem. Booking was quick and as we were only staying the night it was a great choice. There was nothing to fault and we ended up staying for lunch before heading out.

A very nice hotel. Because we were travel as a family of 5, we were given an adjoining room upgrade. The kids and my wife's mother got the "Candide Suite" and our adjoining room had a very nice balcony. We had a nice stay at the Sacher and the concierge was terrific. I had a toothache on the day before a national holiday. The concierge called several dentist offices until he could find one that was nearby and open that afternoon. In addition, the concierge recommended a number of good restaurants. At lunch time on the day we arrived, the hotel cafe was crowded. No problem, since we were hotel guests they saw to it that we got served in a timely manner. I highly recommend the Sacher.

I could not image a better hotel to stay in Vienna or almost anywhere.
They treat their guests as guests and provide the best service. The concierge is best I have ever used. Their recommendations are outstanding and treat everyone with courtesy and respect. They were so helpful-Vienna would never be the same without them.
The hotel rooms are sumptuous with amazing amenities.
The location is right across from the Opera house and in the middle of the city. This hotel is a gem and a nation treasure for Austria.

I booked the room well in advance and communicated via email with Georgine at the hotel who had everything arranged perfectly for the 2 rooms I had reserved for myself and a friend. After a smooth as silk check in, lovely ladies at reception, I entered the room which was nothing short of luxurious. Every aspect of my stay was special. The buffet breakfast included tables of delicacies, a hot food area with chef cooking up omelettes and eggs, 4 different delish waters including amethyst, and Sacher champagne to go with the famous and delicious Sacher Torte. It was lovely! The hotel is across the street from the Opera and the Concierge kindly filled us in on the details of how to tour the Opera House, which we took advantage of and had a 50 minute English tour. This was so easy as the hotel has such a great location. Everything is nearby, sights, restaurants, shopping. Spend a little extra to stay here and you will not regret it.
