“wonderful time”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 August 2014

I recently stayed three nights at the Sacher. From the minute I entered till my departure I loved it. Every member of the personnel treated me as if I special - from the concierge, front desk, doorman, house cleaning. It was a wonderful experience. My room was immaculate, everything worked perfectly and the amenities were top rate. I am thinking of returning for a spell in the winter. Plus, it is right in the middle of all the major attractions of this lovely city. I cant praise it too much.

Room Tip: my room overlooked the opera House, which was lovely

Great Location close to the train station, subway, grocery markets, shopping, restaurants etc... We stayed in room 709 which has a large balcony plenty of room to sunbath & then have a dinner for 5. Close to the Opera house which we could hear street opera singers every evening! Room service is fast & very accommodating. Our family also stayed in room 323 which did not have a balcony but had chandeliers & more updated bathroom than 709. They give you chocolates every day & fresh flowers so you feel pampered. The Blue Bar on the main level is so handsome & welcoming! Plus the breakfast room is elegant & the staff makes sure your bacon is cooked to your liking!

This is one of two hotels were I have stayed in Vienna, the other being The Imperial, and this wins only by the practicality of its location. The hotel is right next to the Opera. It's service is excellent with a friendly and formal staff as you would expect in a hotel in this price range. The rooms are adequalitely sized with a formal old world charm. The breakfast buffet is excellent as is the cafe that has the famous sachet tart, which apparently was invented here. Rooms are priced as to reflect the number of stars in this hotel. If you want to spend the money,is a great choice in Vienna.

This is hotel is simply wonderful. Great location, right behind the Opera. Walking distance from St. Stephens, Hofsburg Palace and lots of great museums. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautifully furnished. Cafe Sacher is an experience not to be missed.

Staying at this hotel is a delightful experience. The staff is fantastic: extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. Service is what the hotel is famous for, and this was my experience. The rooms are beautifully furnished with lots of useful and lovely details. The breakfast buffet is excellent too (take your time and enjoy it). Their transfer service is reasonable, fast and comfortable. A great experience and a hotel I highly recommend.

Such a beautiful hotel, from the moment you arrive and you are welcomed by the concierges to the moment you leave , you feel pampered and nothing is too much trouble. This very plush hotel manages to be cosy despite the formality. Look forward to going back.

Such a great all round experience at this Vienna institution.
From the moment you step into the modest entrance you feel at home and spoilt.
Very helpful and friendly staff, great room with view and superb amenities.
