I chose to stay at this hotel because of the cheap online fare and the name. I completely lucked out by choosing to stay here as it is an excellent hotel, well presented and maintained. The staff members were helpful and friendly. I booked a double room for single occupancy and I had the same issue here that I did in other hotels whereby they push 2 single beds together and don't cover them in a single sheet.

2 beds pushed together means you fall in the gap and can be a real pain in the [--]. However, the beds and sheets were incredibly soft and I slept fairly well. The hotel is in a nice quiet part of town but close to the castle which was good.

Can't really say a bad word about this hotel as the room was modern, clean and everything worked well. Definitely stay here if it is within your price range!

Stayed 3 nights, as other reviewers have said the hotel is far from the city center but not a problem to travel on the tube. Had booked executive double room on upper floor, the upper floor being the 2nd floor in my case, there were higher levels, the room was an average double room, pleasant, clean and modern, no walk in shower just a bath and hand shower, extras were bath robes and slippers, plus the use of the executive lounge. The food in the executive lounge was unavailable after 7.00pm, during a lunchtime visit there was only 1 tiny sandwich left, I think it is a case of grab them while you can. Not sure I would pay the extra for the executive room again but fine if you like to spend most of your time in the hotel eating and drinking tea and coffee.

Room Tip: Quiet rooms are facing the courtyard Executive double rooms are on the 2nd floor and above

I stayed 3 nights o business.
The meeting rooms were excellent. Room Newton has lots of light and a great outlook.
Catering and meeting staff were excellent and very helpful.
Room was good and simple I have no complaints.
Restaurant kitchen does what it does well but is limited in range.

I will be using this hotel again for business.

I stayed in one of the suites (360) and the room was just superb. Very close to Karlzplat (City centre) and couple of minutes walk from the Opera Palace. SchBruun? The hotel its nice for business / or friends.

Sadly we didn't get any room service (cleaning) for two days. but besides that it is a good experience.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. You can find faults if you are being really critical. It is used a lot by tour companies so there is a constant turnover of tourists. Yes it is not on the urban but you have legs to walk to the station plus do some research and find out the tram stops to West Bahnhof. It is a short walk to Shonbrun which in its self is fantastic. It is a modern hotel newly refurbished. The rooms are large with all home comforts, go for the executive rooms a few nice additional touches. Big bathroom with good shower. Staff are well informed and very helpful. The breakfast is great lots of choice to suit everyone. Normally avoid eating in hotels as food is over priced for average quality. This is an exception the restaurant food was really really good as good as my favourite local restaurant and really good value for money. There is a gym which is also better than most hotels I have stayed in. I will be staying there again on my next trip to Vienna.

Room Tip: Go for the executive rooms or a room overlooking the palace.

Hotel is clean, bathroom is fairly large for Europe but way to far from city center. Although close to Schonbrunn palace and gardens, it is at least 1o miles which means a cab drive for about fifteen euros or a train ride which is much more affordable.
