Very lovely place to be. quit and little bit away from the center. However, you can be in the center by taking a very near tram (52,58) or underground (U4). The park near the hotel was great and lovely.
The service was average. The cleaning was average as well. In fact I asked the hotel for a shampoo since they did not provide me with some!! And I ask the cleaner to replace the bed sheets since she decided not to see that they were not clean!
The thing that I really was upset from is the hot water!! I went there with my Mom, and she needs some hot drinks during the day or after we arrive at evening. I asked for a kettle but they said they can provide me with hot water. When I asked for hot water they told me that if I need it to my room I will pay 5 Euro each time! Instead I needed to go to the kitchen and ask one of the staff for a hot water! I feel my self like a poor girl asking for a bread!! :( I hated that!
They could just provide the service once a day.. nothing will happened really!

After a long flight transatlantic flight it was great this was my first stop. Arrived way before checkin, around 10am and the room was ready! Quite large for European standards and very clean, stocked mini fridge. View of the museum next door, kinda on the outskirts of downtown Vienna but practically next door to Schonbrunn castle and the metro to take you old Vienna. Breakfast was not North American but okay and if not part of your hotel fee very expensive, same with lunch. Loved it here, when I come to Vienna, will stay here again.

On arrival they will request 50€ - even if it is prepaid, inclusive minibar and breakfast. You do not have the 50€ cash or your credit card is not compatible with their system? Believe it or not: they will ask you to go to the next bank to withdraw cash even in the evening, even if it is cold and dark (danke frau Hahn and her apprentice)! Welcome at the palace! (Definitely guest friendly!!)

The executive rooms "on the upper floors facing the green inner courtyard" are actually facing the grey building/ windows of the hotel rooms ...if you're lucky - or unlucky -, you might see some naked guests! You will not face "a green inner courtyard" on the upper floors if you book one of these rooms as the trees are tiny and the vegetation is not abundant (this is an euphemism!). The view is really depressing (unless you like it grey)

The way to your room: l-o-n-g, never e-n-d-i-n-g corridors. While I was there, a female guest was always putting a plastic bag with - what seemed to be -child's poop in the corridor; another child of the same family was always touching everything at breakfast- rude staff - rude guests!

The "executive lounge offering fresh snacks and drinks all day"? I went there several times: at 2pm, 4pm, 7pm, drinks yes, snacks never.

Housekeeping? A disaster: hair on towels, dirt on the (stained) carpet during the entire stay. Bed sheets changed every 4 days, dusty desk and coffee and tea making facilities on arrival and for entire stay. Toiletries: empty? No replacement!

Noisy heater and annoying lighting control system in the rooms.

Breakfast: hot buffet wasn't warm. Nevertheless good brands (e.g.Sonnentor)

Fazit: the worst (Austria Trend) Hotel I stayed at.

The only Viennese Touch is the Pencil in the room. Otherwise this is just a business hotel like you would find everywhere - BUT with unfriendly staff, poor housekeeping and extremely bling-bling!

If you go to Vienna to enjoy the city and its flair,do not go there: there are much nicer (Austria Trend) Hotels around!

This hotel is indeed one of the most beautiful hotels we were.
It's clean and it has a really nice view.
The breakfast was amazing, from the view untill the varity of food.
It's gonna be our place to stay each time we'll visit Viena!

This is a nice chain hotel, nice breakfast, next to Schönbrunn Palace, quite clean. No complains. One of the good chain hotel I like in Europe. Has free wifi. Although the outside looks very industrial looking. not a very good view, but overall the room is very comfortable and nice size.

Room Tip: Nice Breakfast

The hotel is situated in a perfect area with large park in front and 5 minutes walking distance from Schonnbrunn palace, and easy connection by tram 58 and metro to the centre. The lobby is huge and nice , the reception is just proffesional and nothing else. Breakfast is rich and breakfast-room is spacious. The superior-plus room we stayed is very modern well kept and includes everything you expect from a 4 star sup. hotel. The bathroom is also nice and functional. Free wifi in room worked perfectly. BUT the beds are very small in size and when you try to turn during your sleep you must be careful not to fall down ! I put a chair next to bed to have a safer sleep ! I cannot explain why in such a new, modern, and big room they provide such tiny beds ! I believe its not the cost to provide 2 double beds like other hotels do. Finally the parking cost of 24.50 euros is TOO expensive in an area away from vienna centre.

We have been impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. there was no trace of dust inside the room. spacious rooms. beautifully decorated. Excellent. But far away from city center. Outside of the hotel there is a tram and bus station but you have to take and metro if you want to go city center. Approximately 20-25 traveling to city center. The choice is yours.
