“Good for an Holiday Inn”
Reviewed 17 August 2014

I was one night at this location, and first of all I had a very special price , included breakfast & dinner, and than they also upgraded me to a Superior room. So, my first impression was good.

Room was large enough with and with a sofa so good if you want to see tv without disturbing others. Bed was good, not the best but I had a good rest.

Bathroom was not immaculate, but shower works well .

TV has many channels, and dinner was also very good, as breakfast.

So, a good experience .... Considering the standard of Holiday inn's Hotels, .

Location not bad, with a metro station not far away.

I' ll come back, if I will find other good price.

This hotel was perfect for us. Location is just a few minutes away from lots of attraction, particularly the Opera House. Service was very friendly and attentive, both at the front desk and at the restaurant. Restaurant provides a very complete breakfast -- premium coffee and tea, pastries/croissants/breads, hot food (eggs, beans, sausage, etc.), yogurts, smoked salmon, and plenty more. Front desk is helpful arranging tours and taxis. Room was very clean and spacious, bathroom was very good including a strong shower and great soap/shampoo/lotions. Strong and free wifi too.

First, the staff is very helpful with a beautiful smile.
They help us to visit most places in vienna by offering "vienna sightseeing guided tours" .
Never walked into the hotel without "hello-hi- good morning- good evening".The room was clean, so comfy and the amazing thing was changing my bed sheet every single day!, that was surprising because every hotel I have been they have a policy " changing bed sheet every 5 days or something " never daily! .. Nothing special at breakfast but overall good hotel loved it.

The front desk staff at this hotel was wonderful! I began emailing months before my trip for suggested excursions and they promptly replied with great ideas (and complete details). They even arranged pick-up at the airport that could be charged to the room (wasn't sure how many euros we would need). They reserved all our trips, provided us with city maps and directions and instructions on how to use the subway and trams (never did that before). The room was spotless and very comfortable.

Room Tip: Our room was on the second floor and it very nice.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in July 2014 with my wife and 2 children. Our family room comprised of a double bed and settee bed with TV, partitioned off from a sitting area with another TV and coffee table. The room also had free tea and coffee making facilities as well as an iron and ironing board and plenty of wardrobe space. As an unexpected bonus, WiFi was also free in our room. For approximately £100 per night for the four of us including breakfast, this represented very good value. Breakfast was served in a small dining room next to reception and consisted of cereals, fruit, bread with jam and honey, Viennese pastries, cold meats, cheeses, yoghurt and more limited cooked items like bacon, sausage, eggs and beans. Very satisfactory. The location of the hotel is about 15 minutes walk from the open air market and 20 -30 minutes walk from the Old Town. There are a number of bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. We walked back to the hotel late one night with our two children and felt perfectly safe walking through the local neighbourhood. Check in and out was very swift and painless. The hotel has a small bar with reasonably priced drinks (3.5 euros for a beer) and a small attractive garden where you can have a drink or indeed have your breakfast. Overall in terms of value, location, size of family room and breakfast this is one of the best hotels I've stayed in. Yes it's a Holiday Inn and not the poshest or individualistic of places but it served our needs exactly!

Nice place to stay, very complete hotel, nice room and ok for a family of four (with two kids). Nice bathroom. Service is good (nothing special). A bit far from downtown. Very clean. Nice beds. Good value for money. Internet is for a surcharge and so is the parking if you travel by car, but we left the car in the street as it's free and available during weekends, and safe. We did not have breakfast in the hotel as it was not included in our rate and we wanted to go to a viennese cafe. I would recommend the hotel, unless you are willing to pay for a more fancy hotel downtown, this is fine, specially for families.

Room Tip: Our room was not internal but it's not noisy at night. It faced the front door. it was big and...

The hotel is not located close to anything other than a 10 minute walk to an underground station. It looks like a holiday inn and once inside is reasonably well presented. We had been offered the possibility of a reasonably priced upgrade to a suite when booking the room and this eventuated at check in. The room was certainly large and offered two sofas and a big bed as well as lots of room to spread out, It was surprising therefore to find that the bathroom was fairly tight. air-conditioning worked, but very poorly and with temperature sitting over 30 degrees during the day and mid 20s at night, sleep quality was poor. Internet was often so slow that you gave up waiting for emails and downloads. Breakfasts were included and were great, particularly the automatic coffee machine which provided us with the best cappuccinos we had during our three days in Vienna.

Room Tip: If its hot ask for a room with effective air conditioning

Dear StephenR285,

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your stay. It is unfortunate the layout of the bathroom prevented you from fully enjoying your time at the hotel. We are confident the necessary adjustments will be made, in order to achieve complete guest satisfaction.

Thank you again for your comments, we look forward to serving you in the future.
