“Family trip to Vienna”
Reviewed 11 June 2014

Nice hotel, close to the Praterstern U-Bahn Station and 5 minutes walking to the Prater Park.
Helpful and friendly staff, and the breakfast was decent and substantial for a good price.
Spacious, clean and quiet room. The courtyard was excellent for breakfasts when the weather allows you to stay outside.
Overall, good experience.

Room Tip: Room 105 was big and had an even bigger bathroom.

It's nice and quiet place just five minutes walk from Prater. The stuff is friendly, welcoming and helpful. Good breakfast. There is a smoking lounge and courtyard - it was nice to chill out in the shade after a hot day sightseeing. I loved the bed - so soft and pleasant! Daily housekeepeng. A TV in the room, but we did'n use it. Free Wi-Fi. No gym, but there are a lot of gyms around the hotel (working 24 hours).

Having opted for a budget-friendly hotel, I was only expecting a fari and decent service. However, I was very impressed with the service offered. All receptionists were very helpful. The room provided was clean. Hotel also offers free Wi-Fi (upon request). Breakfast was decent as well, although it could be more varied. The hotel area isn't one to remember. However, it is only a 5 minutes walk from Prater train station, and that is a plus, giving the efficiency of Vienna's transport system.

We stayed in the hotel for several days at the end of April.
Hotel is in very good location, near U-Bahn station. The way from the airport to hotel took about 40 minutes. But in the evening the surrounding territory seems too quite with no people around that frightens a little bit. The room is clean. There are terrible flat pillows and blankets of a really strange size on a bed. Breakfast is not included. The price is 10 euro per day but it's better to have breakfast somewhere else.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Anyway for several days it's good.

Stayed in this hotel last december with a group of 10 people. I can describe it as a mix between a hotel and a hostel, as it has separate, clean rooms and a cozy, familiar atmosphere.

The room they first gave us was chilly, but they switched it immediately after our complaint with a bigger one that was very warm. The rooms have their own bathroom and they are quite spacious. They are not fancy, they are subtle and clean. The rooms lack a refrigerator but you can you use a shared one in the lobby in case you carry food. Just talk to the receptionists and they will be kind enough to help you with the handling of food. The WiFi is strong and free of charge. The cigar room and the lobby have very interesting surrealistic pieces of art. They also have a restaurant, but we preferred eating out with some friends from Vienna. You can help yourself with drinks from the lobby and put the quantity down on a paper next to your room, so that they can charge you when you check out.

The hotel is really close to Prater and to the underground (5 mins walking). If you're lucky, you get to park in the lot front of the hotel (there are about 5-6 places and it's free of charge in the weekends).
It's an excellent choice if you want to visit Vienna on a low budget and feel like you're staying in a central boutique hotel.

I stayed for a week: very friendly staff, good service, nice rooms, 5 minutes from the underground. Even if it is near the station, the zone seems to be quiet. Nice restaurants in the nearly located Leopoldstadt.

Room Tip: If you choose a small room, call the hotel in order to be sure to have a double or a twin according...

I stayed in the hotel with a group of 4. We arrived in a cold (very cold Feb evening, -26 C). It was a little hard to find, the google maps location was a little off at the time. The hotel has lots of interesting art scattered around the hotel. The bar is a self service affair where you take what you want and write it down in a little book. It wouldn't work in Ireland??? The rooms on the top floor (converted attic space) are smaller than the other floors but all were clean and comfortable. The lift is old and a bit dodgy, we took the stairs after the first trip. The hotel is near a train station and very near a tram stop.
