We had a stopover here while traveling. The location is excellent for the airport and also next door to the train station which has the train to the City Centre which only takes 16 mins. The rooms are larger than most airport hotels and had a king size bed, there is tea and coffee available and all mod cons. The bathroom is quite small but has all necessary facilities, the shower area is a little snug but all in all very comfortable. We had to pay €50 extra for breakfast (for 2 x persons) there is a very good choice but I think is still very overpriced, which may explain why the restaurant was empty! On the whole we enjoyed our stay more for convenience rather than value for money.

Room Tip: High floors apparently have nicer rooms according to reception

In 2016 when we flew through Vienna we stayed closer to the city. This trip, we wanted a place as close to the airport as possible, but not too expensive since it was just one night. The NH Vienna Airport Conference Center fit that bill exactly. It is indeed walking distance to the airport terminal(s), and it is a really nice place.

We were very fortunate to be checked in by a Mr. Martin, who was very friendly and a consummate professional as well. His positive attitude really made me feel happy that I chose this particular hotel. As for the room itself, it was very nice, though we did find the air conditioning in it to be a bit less capable than we expected. Other than that, it was very clean and configured nicely. The large screen TV was excellent, and the bed/bedding was as well.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in the newer building

airport hotel, feels old, doesn't have a good vibe, those hotels that make you feel a little like in prison. the carpets are old, the bath tub is old. The price for parking 30 Euro per day is outrageous, this is them being greedy. If you are stuck for the night becuase of flight delay, then ok, but I would not recommend this if you have other options for Vienna.

After we picked up our luggage we literally walked five minutes after exiting the terminal and we were at the NH hotel! We arrived several hours before check-in and the had a room ready for us! Check-in was quick and easy. Room was no frills but did the trick for the one night we were there. Lobby area and bar was nice. You just can't beat the convenience. There was a line to check out but we just left our key with the envelope with our room number and went on our way.

Since we had an early morning flight out of Vienna we decided to stay at this hotel the night before to save ourselves the half hour drive from Vienna Center City to the airport. Like many others have mentioned on this site, check-in lines are long and the check-in desk staff are exceedingly slow---pleasant but really slow. When we got to our room we found it really dark, the only lights operating were two reading lights alongside the bed. There was a lamp on the desk and a floor lamp and we could not get either to turn on. After crawling around following a plethora of cords we finally discovered that neither were plugged in.
Next we tried to use the in room phone and found out that it was totally dead, so we went back downstairs and stood in the slow line at the desk to report this. We will say that they had a maintenance person at our door with a new phone very quickly and it worked. While at the desk we inquired about getting some ice in the room and were told we needed to go to the restaurant and request it there. After 10 minutes of standing around the host desk in the restaurant and being totally ignored (except for one waitress who looked over a few times and just continued with serving/clearing her tables) we went to the bar and asked there for some ice. Their response was that we needed to go to the restaurant for that. After a not so pleasant response from us, the bartender offered to get us ice. After quite a while he returned with a plastic bag of crushed ice. The restaurant is only a one-price buffet, so we decided to eat in the bar which has a very limited menu, but at least the basics of soup, salad, sandwich. When we returned to our room we requested an early morning wake up call, but at that point since we had no confidence that this hotel was capable of doing much of anything, we set the alarm on our phones. Surprise-----no wake up call came in the morning. The final blow came when we turned on the hair dryer and it caught on fire. Seriously, huge amounts of black smoke were coming out of it and the room smelt like there had been a major electrical fire. We noticed that the screen in back of the dryer was already partially black and burnt. By the way, no smoke alarm went off. We dressed quickly and left, and there was a very short walk from the hotel to the airport terminal- the only good thing about this hotel. Housekeeping here is extremely deficient. Next time we are in Vienna we will stay in the city and set the alarm for a half hour earlier as the last night of an otherwise really nice vacation should not be stressful as this was.

Room Tip: Try another hotel.

The whole NH Vienna Airport Conference Center team feels sorry for this bad appearence. Since guest satisfaction is our main goal we take your review very seriously. Regarding the food options we have to mention that besides the buffet we offer the opportunity to choose from our a la carte menu at the restaurant. Plenty of delicious international and regional dishes are served for all kinds of culinary desires. Our service team would be happy to inform you about all the options.

In order to improve we kindly ask you if you could please contact our reception department directly via email in order to verify the room with the malfunctions so we can make sure that these will be solved immediately.
