Sweet hotel, very nice & helpful staff
Every morning they give you a note with recommendations for the day & the weather in few languages :)
The rooms is Worm and clean, and huge in terms of European hotels.
The Hotel is location in great for city touring – near the main Shopping street, The opera House is just a few minutes walking away, the “ring” is just around the corner, and there is nice and coffee houses & restaurants around the hotel for those who hate eat bad and expensive food in the City center. We almost never used the transportation.
If I will ever Visit Vienna again, I will for sure come back to this hotel.

The staff are warm and friendly... Great location ; right behind the Underground Station and a busy fashion street (shopper's haven). The staff are keen on adding some warm touches (welcome letters) , chocolates etc that surely add to the charm. It sure has its share of negatives
A) the stairs at the entrance ; extremely difficult to drag /carry heavy luggage without any assistance up the staircase
B) the elevator is TINY... No space to accommodate more than three ppl and carrying ones luggage to the room is a pain
C) no wash basin in the toilet (part of a separate bath section) will have to wait to wash hands if the bath is occupied

This hotel has a great location where you can easily walk to the Museum Quarter and the Royal Apartments, etc. While we took the subway to St. Stephens stop, we mostly walked around Vienna and found it very easy. The hotel room was very spacious with a large bathroom as well. Plenty of storage as well. Breakfast was very good but the room itself is a little small so you may have to wait a bit for a table. Well worth it. People at the front desk were very helpful. Overall an excellent experience.

Stayed here for 4 nights with my wife for a city trip. Location is just perfect, near the center and the metro. Rooms are pretty good but could need some refurb. Beds are very hard. Service of the staff is very good. Only thing is that the breakfast room is really really small, and at popular breakfast hour more than filled. Breakfast itself is simple but good.

Good location. Inconvenient accessibility. Have to carry luggage up 2 flights of stairs that appear to be to a parking garage. Strange! Nice bath, shower and lobby. Small elevator for two people. No AC but the standard in Europe. Same with wash cloths. Did have fan and easy to open windows. Management usually too busy to be of much help. Wifi not secure so did not access internet using my IPhone or IPad. Breakfast nothing to brag about. Overall clean and comfortable even though desk staff not that friendly.

The Savoy has good staff, it is impecably kept and centrally located, even though for the first-time visitor it is hard to find. In fact it is a few steps away from the U3 stop Neubaugasse, but to keep distance short one has to cross the alley signalled for the NH hotel. Else, you have to go around the block.
The staff is very friendly, quite helpful and dedicated to their job. They know well the surrounding area and what it offers. There are also fruits offered in the reception, which is good given the heavy meaty Viennese meals!
There are steps to get to the reception, which is not good if there is heavy luggage. Also the elevator was small, for 1-2 persons (it is the original elevator but refurbished).
The rooms are very spacey and quiet. They are decorated resembling a simplified palace. The shower and toilet were very clean and modern but need improved ventilation. There is free wifi, part of the Freewave network. Therefore, connection is not consistent in all the room.
Breakfast was the same every day, but offered choices to make it varied, such as cold cuts or cereals. Bread is served abundantly and there are flyers with tips for tourist activities (which were changed every day).
In conclusion, despite the physical limitations such as the elevator, it is a very good hotel providing a high standard for its category and price.

Room Tip: ask for a room facing the central courtyard and on upper floors

The hotel is an excellent place to stay. The location is excellent: a few minutes away from the neubaugasse station on the U3 line. The service is very good. They even gave us free chocolate on our check-in to the room. We had a triple room and it was very large with separated WC and they are well decorated. But the breakfast room is small so you have to come early in the morning for breakfast if you don't want to wait for a table ( come around 7:00 - 7:30 am ). Also, the lift is small so if you are more than 2-3 persons, you can't get in it at once. Also there is some stairs before arriving at the reception which may be difficult when you have many luggages. The breakfast could be more varied but it is ok.
Finally, i recommend this hotel to everybody who wants to stay in vienna
