All you would expect from Hilton and more. An art exhibition in the lobby. Excellent conference facilities. Very popular with Muslims as there is a dedicated prayer room.

Room Tip: I did not sleep in this hotel, but the conference members who did were very happy.

We arrived at the Vienna Hilton after 5 minutes walk from the CAT City train from the airport. The hotel is rather unispiring from the outside as it is a bland 20th century high rise. However the lobby is tastefully decorated with cosy sofas and lovely art. The warm welcome was appreciated. We were a few hours early for normal room check in and hoped the concierge would take our luggage while we went out. However we got our room straight away although the hotel was quite busy. We did not mind bringing our luggage to the room ourselves as there was so much activity in the lobby which occupied the staff. The room was reasonably spacious for a city hotel and decorated in a pleasing bright airy and functional style. There was good light from the window which could be opened although there was efficient air conditioning as well. The wardrobe space was good with iron and ironing board. The bathroom had all one needed although the shower was over bath and not separate. The products were not over generous but replenished daily. The kettle with tea/coffee supplies was a nice touch and everything was replenished daily also. The room was spotlessly clean and the beds extremely comfortable. I was glad that we did not need to use the wi fi as it is very expensive.
We were really pleased with the excellent location right beside the Stadt park if one wanted a pleasant stroll. It was so convenient for the airport train as well as only 10 minutes walk from Stefan Platz right in the city centre. If it was needed a U Bahn station was across the bridge 2 minutes from the hotel entrance.
Although €29 is pricy for breakfast, it was suberb. At weekend it is served up to 11.00 a.m. making it almost like a brunch. There is an absolute feast for the eyes with an array of juices, cereals, fruits, cheeses, cold meats, salmon breads and pastries. The cooked food is terrific with too many items to list including asian specialities. There is a waffle and egg station along with a good selection of teas and coffee at the table. It is worth having the breakfast at least once during a stay. However there are a couple of pleasant cafes across the road which are very suitable for something lighter as well as a variety of cafes and restaurants on the way to the city centre.
The bar is pleasant for a night cap but beware the drinks are not cheap.
We found the staff and service to be excellent, warm but not intrusive. This is uncommon for an international city hotel.
We had obtained a great deal on Booking.Com which made it all the better. Perhaps the full Hilton website price might be overreaching the true value.

Room Tip: Go fort eh upper floors for better views

The hotel is well located, the rooms are ok in size and everything looks good until you stay.

The beds are out of date and very uncomfortable. The cleaning was terrible. I stayed in for four days and the maid never changed the drinking glasses, only took the trash ones and made the bed twice, it seemed like it was never Cleaned. I have never had this bad hotel experience before regarding to cleaning, Just the worst.

The staff at the front desk are nice and room service good.

We bagged a deal on Booking.com, so this was a great find for us. This is a Hilton, so it's a good 4 1/2 star hotel. Good rooms. Everything works as it should. OK location.

Helpful staff. Great breakfast.

I dislike Hilton hotels wherever they may be, but I did try to keep an open mind. The lobby and bar areas are very nice, with great bartenders and wait staff. Receptionist Staff are cool and seem offended if you have a question to ask. This is no place for a tourist, more appropriate to a business meeting and conference where you have no choice in accomadations

Room Tip: Try another hotel
