Couldn't ask for a better location in the city. Visited Vienna for the first time over Christmas (2013) with the family and as Marriott Platinum Members, we already knew where we were going to stay.
Easy walk to plenty of amazing restaurants and high end shopping. Christmas markets galore. Stephens Dome maybe 5min walk through very nice shopping area. Museums were a bit more of a walk, maybe 15-20min.
Concierge lounge was great. Served great full meals with 2-3 hot plates, breads, cheeses, several salads, house wine and simple cocktails. Breakfast was just as robust. Coffee machines available during all open hours - great quality. Very large (15 or so table tops) with a few couches and large TV, though if occupied no other TV to control / watch. Large windows overlooking the city.
Room was average, up to Marriott standards. Floors are set up in a square-circle so you could end up a hefty walk away from the elevators.
Great that they ran room service late, even over the holiday. Would definitely stay here again when in Vienna. Highly recommend.
