Stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Lobby area is huge and the service staff is fast and efficient. The rooms are spacious with nice amenities. Wifi in the room is NOT free. The hotel is around 10 minutes walk away from the city center. There are a few cafes and restaurants nearby.

The hotel itself is a bit dated, though it is relatively well kept and the staff very responsive. Our first room was on the third floor, which is right above the smoking rooms. We had a steady stream of smoke coming through the vents, so I complained about it to the front desk. At first, the front desk clerk said she'd have someone come in and spray the room. That wasn't ok with me -- spraying a deodorizer on top of cigarette smoke just makes things worse -- so the supervisor stepped in and decided to move us up to the seventh floor. The room was about the same -- furnishings were a bit old -- and the bathroom had a ring of black mold/mildew along the grout of the tub. I decided not to make an issue of it, but it have to admit it was pretty gross, probably unhealthy too.
The best part of the stay was the breakfast. It is a well-stocked buffet that has everything -- smoked salmon, assorted meats, omelette station, pastries, etc. If you plan to stay there, shop around for a Marriott package that includes it. It doesn't have to be 30 Euro per person if you plan ahead.
As for the Marriott's location, it seems to be in a good place. The hotel is right across the street from Stadt Park and the train station. We took the train to visit Schoenbrunn, which is a top attraction there. I'd recommend it. It's huge, with lots to see.

Room Tip: Don't stay on the third floor.

Nice typical Marriott Hotel with great location on Ringstrass with Stadpark right opposite and Johann Strauss House.
the room is large .The staff very friendly.
No Wifi in the room so the lobby is crowded.
The breakfast bufffet with a variety of choice but a little bit expensive ( 30 Euro/per person)
I stayed total 6 nights ( 2 times May and beginning of June)
The coffee Garten : very good coffee and Austrian pastry
Thanks to the lady on 8th floor Lounge helping us with the best restaurants in Vienna
Memorable vacation The gymn is a bit small.

Room Tip: Rooms on the left have beautiful view

This hotel is in a great location very close to everything and the lovely park right opposite. Executive room was large, but looking a little bit tired - apparently a room refurbishment is planned. Air conditioning seemed to struggle with high summer temperatures. Executive lounge was good as was main breakfast buffet. Staff all very helpful. They charge for wifi in the rooms which is a little outdated policy across all Marriott hotels - many others such as Radisson have made it free throughout.

We had a standard room with a large king bed but it do not come with internet access. That is an additional $20 per night (which is why there are so many people sitting in the lobby on their devices. Internet is free there). Also, breakfast was not included but you can buy coffee in the lobby for about $5. The hotel itself is fine, but we thought a bit dated. It felt like a typical US Marriott with nothing special to make you feel like you are in beautiful Vienna. The location is a quick walk to the center of town with great restaurants and shopping.
