On arrival, service was impeccable. Room very pleasant, clean, nice decor. Simple but neutral, comfortable and nothing to complain about. The only fault i could find was a slight lacking of tea and coffee bits in the room, although room service brilliant. We did have to ask for more tea bags and coffee each day. Staff amazingly friendly and efficient. Very well versed with local knowledge tourism and in fact all that one would need to know and so unlike staff in any hotels in London!!

food brilliant .. amazing buffet breakfasts with fresh and good produce, nicely presented.
Service also good and very attentive without being intrusive.

Room Tip: none necessary all good rooms

I agree that it is a perfectly pleasant hotel, well maintained, clean, quiet, well-run. I didn't find the staff particularly warm or engaging, but they were professional and helpful when asked. The room had everything I needed, with a modern, understated feel (not gorgeous but certainly adequate and pleasant). Bathroom was modern, clean and very functional. A/C worked very well. It was very comfortable. We were there on vacation, but the hotel had more of a "business hotel" feel to it (in my opinion). The breakfast buffet (included in the room rate) was plentiful (meats, cheeses, breads, rolls, pastries, fruits, juices, cereals and other choices) and the service was efficient, but was not otherwise memorable. As others have noted, the location is not stellar or aesthetically pleasing - althought there is a very small and attractive park right across the street (the hotel is near Schwedenplatz, a semi-dumpy looking commercial strip - seemed perfectly safe and we passed through it a lot coming and going, it just wasn't very appealing) but it is easily accessible (a 10 minute walk to the center of Old Town and close to everything by walking, tram or U-Bahn). One huge advantage of the location is relative quiet and peace. It was nice to be able to get away from the crowds and noise. I thought it was a good value for the price and I would not object to staying there again. If you want historic charm, intimacy or a location right in the heart of Old Town, I would recommend looking elsewhere, but it was as advertised and a good choice.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the park across the street.

We had a very nice stay at the K+K Palais for 2 nights in June. The room was very large, and had a comfortable king sized bed. Our room faced the park in front of the hotel and was very quiet. The location of the hotel is just OK-but Vienna is huge and spread out, so I think no matter where we had stayed, we would have had to do quite a bit of traveling to see everything. There is a Metro stop just a few blocks away from the hotel, which was very convenient. Most of the historic sites (e.g. St. Michael's cathedral) were at least a 20 min walk from the hotel, so we used the Metro a lot. The breakfast at the hotel was fine, not quite as good as those at K+K Cayre in Paris or K+K Central in Prague (but those set a very high standard!) The service was excellent-the front desk staff were very helpful with directions, parking, etc (they have a few 5 euro per day street parking passes available, which was unexpected and fantastic).

Stayed 4 nights in June 12, Very good hotel, clean and modern inside. Good size room with view of a small park. Very good quality shower room. Nothing wrong with the room, beds fine, Range of channels on flat screen TV, very little English but did include Eurosport. helpful staff and excellent breakfast. Very quiet inside and outside, Near the trams and the underground. I was there Monday to Friday and brought a weekly ticket for trams and U-Bahn from machine in the airport. I loved the trams, download a map from the internet. Nobody checks your ticket and there are no barriers, there are ticket inspectors but I did not see any. The visit was mainly to see the art galleries.

Stayed here with my cousin for 5 nights, We both found the staff to be very helpful and charming.
The hotel is well situated for walking into the city. Clean and fresh with all one expects from a hotel these days.
Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a room on the front with a balcony, these rooms over look the park

Stayed here for 5 nights with my wife on our Eastern European swing. Once we saw our room we knew we picked the perfect location to explore Vienna. For 5 nights you need space and a large bathroom doesn't hurt. we had space to spare and a bathroom that was large by most hotel standards. Very quiet room at all times. The breakfast was spectacular. Everything that any diet could ask for from cold to hot, from fruit to meat, to gluten-free bread and rolls for me who needs it. If you like cappuccino for breakfast just ask and they will bring it with a smile. A cab ride from the train station but a short 5 minute walk if talking the hydrofoil to Bratislava. And if you need anything the front desk staff has all the answers.

Room Tip: The streets are quiet so overlooking the park would make for a perfect room.

I travelled to Vienna with 2 friends and stayed in a triple room. The rooms were lovely and bathroom very clean. The beds themselves were a little uncomfortable but did the job. The location was great, only a short stroll into the centre or a quick cab ride to other sights. I would definitely recommend the hotel.
