As previous travellers have mentioned this hotel is in a perfect location and within easy walking distance of the city centre. Most conveniently it is only 5 easy minutes from the airport bus stop which makes taking a cab pointless.
I have a couple of reasons for not giving the full five star rating however. We did not find the breakfast
amazing. Good yes, but they ran out of basic things like croissants, the coffee was luke warm and over strong as opposed to the tea which was so weak it barely had any colour despite mashing the tea bag to death. There was only orange juice and an unnamed juiceon offer and the latter was achingly sweet. There was one morning when obviously the hotel was full when we were lucky to get a table as other guests were departing.
Our room was very good and overlooked the square but the queen sized bed had a duvet which exactly fitted the mattress dimensions and meant we fought over it. Please get bigger duvets.
Having said that, the staff were superb and any establishment is judged by the people who work for it.
They could not have done more or been more helpful. If we return to Vienna, we shall certainly stay here again.More
