We stopped in here for a late lunch in February 2014 and had a better experience than most reviewers, it seemed (and our guidebook warned us about Vienna's notoriously grumpy and slow cafe wait staff). There were few occupied tables at that time, so service was relatively quick and friendly and our food choices were a success - the Viennese equivalent of a ham and cheese panini (him) and a huge tuna salad (me). A couple of nice draft beers did not go amiss either. Afterwards, it did take a few minutes to get the waitress' attention in order to order a melange coffee, but if you're not in a rush, this place offers a nice slice of the Viennese experience.
