Wow- a theatre in Vienna producing plays in English. It's a lovely place too with an intimate feel to it. The staff are incredibly friendly and the prices are reasonable for a theatre experience in Vienna.

We saw a touring production of Woody Sez, which is a quality show about the life and music of Woody Guthrie. I would recommend this if it's ever coming to a venue near you. A poinant story with great musicianship.

Get off the U at Rathaus and the theatre is across the road but down a sidestreet and a bit hidden away. There are a host of supper venues nearby. Will visit again when in Vienna.

I came to the theatre with my Vienna friend who has season tickets. It is a lovely venue, albeit a little run down and could use some tlc. The play we saw was Run for Your Wife, one I had seen in London in l989 with Ray Cooney, the playwright, staring in it as well.
I had always wanted to see it again, and so was very pleased that it was playing the night I was there. The production was wonderful and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I attended a production of a very good play - Hello / Goodbye , which I thoroughly enjoyed. Well acted & well written. I was pleasantly surprised to find this English theatre here in Vienna. A nice theatre , with a bar ; nearby are a couple of restaurants , I went to the Pizzeria Verdi very good. If you are in Vienna check out their website & see if there are any current productions you will not be disappointed.

You can reserve your tickets online and pay up to a week before the event. If you, like us arrive on the day of the event you can call them and pay via credit card. Your tickets will be waiting at the cash desk so be a little bit early as there is a queue for tickets.

The venue was great. We watched Pygmalion (My Fair Lady). The actors, the decor, the music, everything was perfect.

Definitely check it out if you have the time and resources!
