The Klimt exhibit is great and to see some of his finest and most famous work was incredible. The surrounding gardens and views of Vienna are amazing as well. A must visit when in Vienna.

I spent 4 hours taking in all 3 locations. You can buy into upper and or lower Belvedere as well as a contemporary gallery 10 minutes walk outside the grounds. There are galleries and sections for a variety of periods of art with a special exhibition in the Lower gallery. The Belvedere palace is built within landscaped grounds on a slope. Some fabulous rooms plus much art on the walls from medieval period to contemporary work. Good work from the Succession. I went for the Egon Scheile as the gallery in the museum district that normally houses Scheile was closed. More discount if you buy for more than 1 Belvedere gallery. Student and older peoples discount. Nice looking small cafe in the upper galleries and free cost hanging.

I opted to not pay for entrance to the Upper Belvedere as it was already getting quite dark when I got there. However, at sunset, this building becomes stupidly magical. Blues and purples in the sky and the moon just perched perfectly so right above it. Viewing it from the center of the gardens will have you in awe!

Stunning palace, such an amazing place and great to walk round in, for family friends even solo.
So much to see round here.weather was nice and pleasant, I found this palace a lot quieter than Schönbrunner, with less crowds.
Stopped by the coffee shop had a cake and cuppaccino and staff were friendly and nice, cake was nice but limited options for vegetarians on menue. Was expensive also.

I really liked the palace, with the beautiful architecture and details, with the long gardens and that amazing view over the city , it is a nice place to take a walk

Enjoyed the modern art and the beautiful rooms, building and grounds. The Klimt. So much choice in Vienna for culture that this was most pleasing when trying to limit venues.

The place is very impressive, but I visited after the Shonbrunn that is more big that the Belvedere: I suggest to visit before Belvedere than the Shonbrunn. So, inside You can find the masterpieces of Gustav Klimt but also of other important painter that worked in Austria.

Due to a time constraint we visited the gorgeously elegant and regal Upper Belvedere. It is easily accessible via trams or any of the Hop on Hop off busses. The breathtakingly beautiful painting The Kiss by Gustav Klimt was my main reason to visit

Enjoyed our visit to Upper Belvedere. Art work excellent, cafe very good but the website needs a re-jig.
Buy tickets online from the website (it is possible but well hidden). Best price and you do skip the queues. Mine wouldn’t save to Apple Wallet so I download the PDFs and this worked perfectly.
